Thanks Mark, yeah been moving things around, always tweaking something on them 🤔👌 yeah brilliant mail Mark those Vinegar Syndrome releases are a thing of beauty for sure mate 🤩🤩🤩👌👌👌
Enjoyed much John, thanks. I bought my first ever blu-ray 14 months ago and now have 60 titles in collection. Late to the game and coupled with my age, I can't imagine ever collecting more than about 125-150 titles. 90% are titles I know I can enjoy rewatching at least once a year; the other 10% are ones I regret buying, usually via a blind buy or one that I had seen decades earlier and it just didn't age well for me. I continue to subscribe alternately between The Criterion Channel and HBO Max; a great way to screen movies, with many I enjoy but don't quite qualify for a disc purchase. Streaming and coupled with your channel and others similar have really helped me hone in on discs I end up buying for my very select collection.
Good strategy Pete! Less is more in some cases! I could have the same amount of movies on my shelves again, but you have to let go sometimes 🤔🤩👍 I know it looks like I haven't but I have 🤣 it's always good to try put movies Pete, especially when you are at the start of collecting 👍👍 cheers for this great insight into your collecting mate 🤩🤩👍👍
That's a very efficient shelf system John. 👍Never got into collecting Funko Pops but I've got two as gifts, and they blend in well in my room. That From Beyond edition by Vinegar Syndrome looks amazing. My copy should arrive tomorrow or the day after at the latest. Great video John, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Sebastian 🤩🤩👍👍I have to find a good place for Sam the Funko Pop, I'm thinking in my studio when I tidy it up 🤔😁 yeah it's a stunning set (as Vinegar Syndrome always do) you'll love it Sebastian! So great of Graham to send it to me 🤩🤩👍👍
Awesome collection John. I do love a bit of Plebs and Still Game. I saw there was a Plebs movie but havent had chance to watch it yet. Looking forward to it
I think I like them all till the later ones mate 🤔😊 Supergrass was a right laugh, my personal favourite is Fistful of Traveler's Cheques 🤣 probably know the script off by heart! "It's a euro rover.......old man!" 🤩🤩 The Supergrass is on this set 👍👍👍
@@MondoChelloveckMovies yes nice collection 📀👍🎥 I'm half way through rearranging my man cave dvds in loft etc , just want me Blu-ray and 4 k Blu-ray 📀 👍
It's funny when you are re organising for space, DVDs always take the hit don't they 🤣 I've got more dvds in cupboards....eventually I can see them all going from the shelves. ....progress Stuart 🤩🤩👍👍
That's a nice shelf set up you have there John, liking it a lot. The room my Movie Room/Man Cave occupies hasn't got the layout necessary for build it yourself shelving, but I'm getting creative with the space I've got for my ever growing collection. Nice mail openings too; Rollerball is a pretty cool film, but parts of it look a little dated. Beyond Darkness looks a little too weird to me, and I do enjoy the occasional weirdness. Take care my friend, hope you're well, and speak to you soon.
Cheers Nash 🤩🤩👍👍yeah the space was pretty easy to fill....just a plain wall 🤩👍 that Rollerball set is excellent, nice to have that dvd booklet to put it 🤩👍👍 love From Beyond.....it is a but odd you're right 🤩🤩 thanks bud, hope you are well too 😊😊👍👍
Top film John, loved looking at your collection cheers ,now the t2 I've got an American version of that in a aluminium slip ,yes a slip lol ,but you've got same as me virtually 70s comedies ,only ove got the sweeney Bix set as well which highly recommend
I think you did a cracking job on the shelves John, the hight is perfect for your disc's, not much dusting to do there. And who gets the most pleasure popping the bubble wrap, you or Debs. You have a great collection John, one to be proud of.
Cheers Gary, the shelves get little or no dust which is brilliant 🤩 haha....I've got a few HUGE bags of bubble wrap unpopped for when I send stuff out, but I must admit any off cuts I'll pop them!! Hyper addictive 😊😊😊 thanks again, yeah really love my collection and the best thing about it being on here is that I can show it to people virtually! Rather than it being there and literally no one sees it ever 😵💫😵💫🤩🤩👍👍
Great collection John, think we have very similar tastes lol, that unit eleven dvd you have not sure if you know Theo Cane you were watching the other day that you mentioned in a video “Slime House TV” he wrote, directed and starred in that movie but I’m sure you’d of known that. Love the collection and great video!
Cheers Paul, it's great to meet a kindred spirit 🤩🤩👍👍 yeah I knew about Theo 👍Lonely Tree Entertainment told me about his channel as he is a mate of Theo and I had to pick the movie up 🤩 love watching Slimehouse, his delivery is amazing I think 🤔😊😊 thanks bud and I do need to get it watched 🤩🤩👍👍
Well done on the DIY skills. Wish I was that much of a man 🤣 collection is looking fresh. I also wanna say - check out Gone Girl ASAP. I saw it in your collection at 15:02 where you're not sure if you want them lol really good flick
Cheers Badger 😊😊👌👌 it was easy mate believe me!! 😵💫🤣 thanks bud! Yeah I'm leaning towards that one very soon, heard great things about it 😊😊 cheers mate 👍👍
Hello John! another fantastic video. Are you picking up the 88 films 4k release of The House on the Edge of the Park? it's also great it's finally uncut in the UK
my dvd's start with the coens too! lol are you also a roger moore bond fan? he's that perfect level of fun and cheese for me. i've been trying to recognise your dvd spines in your vids so this was greatly appreciated, best collection i've seen by miles! made me happy to see shirley ghostman (with my new best friend) and dean learner, they are often slept on i recommend i am not an animal, nighty night, human remains and hunderby if you missed any of those.
Like putting good directors movies together sometimes Dave 🤩🤩👍👍 the Roger Moore Bond movies are some of my favourite "franchises" not a huge Bond fan apart from him and Daniel Craig 🤔👍 thanks for saying that Dave, I've been collecting for what seems like forever mate 😵💫🤩 just watched Shirley and My best friend recently.... my best friend is completely horrible (in a good way) the things the people have to agree with are 😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣 Nighty Night is amazing! Human Remains too 👌👌 ill have to check the other 2 out 👍👍 thanks for the recommendations Dave 🤩🤩👏👏
@@MondoChelloveckMovies i put directors by volume first and then by genre, coens scorsese, tarrantino, kubrick, dante, charlie kauffman stuff, meadows, hitchcock -and so on, i'm rebuilding my collection because i had to sell all mine in cex to repay a debt, thankfully i'm buying a lot of them back for next to nothing in the charity shops, one place does 20 for £1!, my old collection was nothing compared to yours though, you have so much stuff i'd love, proper must haves! i'm not a huge bond fan although i do like golden eye, i'm all about the moore bond movies! i'm always watching MNBF, i really struggle with the sasha one, the grand old duke of york bit drives me insane! hope you like i am not an animal and hunderby! :)

@davidhatred7275 I kind of do the same David....you can probably see that on my shelves above my head, if I didn't do that they would probably get totally lost on these shelves 🤯🤯🤪🤪 Some of the MNBF are so cringe!!! The one where the girl says she's moving to another country with the hypochondriac!! Her dad's demeanour is hard to watch 🥴🥴😵💫😵💫😱😱🤩🤩
Cheers Anthony, yeah what I did was I photocopied the spine from the Criterion set 8 times and cut them to fit in the blu ray cases and took the discs out of the set for easy access, got 50p blu rays from CEX and used them. Easy to do but obviously I had to buy the Criterion big Godzilla set to do this Anthony 😵💫😊 cheers mate 👍👍
John love the video 100%. You say that the shelves are 8 foot high, very few people are over 6, so how in the normal course of events do you see the top shelf?
Cheers Noname 🤩🤩👍👍 appreciate that 😁 well if I'm honest...with a bit of difficulty 😵💫🤣 this video is great for me, just put the start on and I can pick a movie from it 🤔😊👍otherwise I stand squinting for a while and get a sore neck picking a movie 🤯🤣 cheers for watching 🤩🤩👍👍
