People seems to only point fingers at the Prophet PBU , while around same era in the west , marriages happened at as young as 3 years old . Needless to say the norms back then are very different than the norms nowadays , example : - Elizabeth de Badlesmere (aged 3) was married to Edmund Mortimer - Katherine Mortimer (aged about 5) was married to Thomas Beauchamp - Joan of the Tower (aged 7) was married to the future David II of Scotland -Joan of France (aged 9/10) was married to Odo IV, Duke of Burgundy -Margaret of France (aged 9/10) was married to Louis I, Count of Flanders And the list goes on .. Yet some only point out the marriage of the prophet of Islam . Double standards?!

Arguments presented are very strong and before speaking to either the sheikh or having a video call with The Muslim Lantern (he has live Q&A sessions for non-muslims on his channel almost regularly) you really should listen to and learn the information presented in this video. Btw Muhammad Ali is obviously also qualified on the topic so I would personally choose him to speak to your father, he has a way in pinpointing where the issue for a person is and dealing with it so the doubts are eliminated.

The prophet (saw) said that Islam will be in 73 sector and this the only thing Allah (SW) did not gave to the prophet (saw) of these 3 things he asked for

The majority of the believers that we have to follow are the companions of the prophet not just any group of believers. The word in the verse is "sabeel al momeneen" the way of the believers. So basically the verse is saying that we should follow the understanding and application of the prophet and the companions i.e the righteous salaf, not just any majority in any era.

By the majority, he means the group of Sunni believers, not all sects, as the majority of sects are straying from the truth. Following the ijtihad of the Companions and transmitting them is good for every Muslim.

Only one thing of many will refute hadith rejectors.How would we know how to pray,the types of prayers like salat istikhar,janaza eg.The time of salat,the number of rakat etc enough!

There is an iya that says : if you think that Allah has forgotten to mention or didn’t tell human kind about something we need to go to another hadeeth to understand what Allah is trying to tell us , Allah says: know that Allah ink is bigger than the oceans around you. Allah warns us about all hadeeth . Allah says the Quran is all you need to follow his guide to him .

Thier "salah" movements as they do it is not in any books of hadiths.

I hope you will show your dad the perspective of some intelligent Quran only person as well. Let him hear both sides, then make their judgement which side appeals more to our Reason. I watched this very video of Muslim Lantern, and believed him. Until I investigated some rare gems from Quran only community, and I realized, we have been kept dumbed down. There is far, far more to the Quran than the Hadith tells us. May Allah purify our hearts and guide us.

Ahadith is very usefull but when scholars say some of it is Revelation this is when it becomes Shirk.

If some dead what you want to know him?. The answer what he did and what he said that is meaning Hadith and Suna . If you rejected Hadith and suna than 🎉you deleted Mohame(SCW) and if you deleted mohamed you deleted Quran and than Automatic you deleted Allah.and so you became Atheist

By the way, as a Muslim there are many Muslims (like myself) which do not trust many hadiths even the ones in the so-called "Sahih Books". Even the prophet PBUH warned us that there will be many people down the line (and even during his life) who would lie on him and say he said things he didn't. Your dad can definitely be a Muslim without trusting most of the hadiths. Important to point out that if we know for sure the hadith came from the Prophet then definitely you must trust it, but its very reasonable to be skeptical of hadiths even ones which scholars claim to be correct (especially if the hadiths contradict the Quran in your view). Remember we were guaranteed the Quran has no errors but no such guarantee applies to any other Book even the so-called Sahih books (after all, humans called them Sahih).

as someone learn a bit about hadith, these people are ridiculous. there hundreds or thousands of book written dedicated to preserve the knowledge of hadith. the status of people in each chain, their name. background. memorization strength. whether each of them meet other. the classification of hadith into multiple class based on the evidence these chain & other hadith to avoid any curroption from happening. there are no other systems preservation better than this

This topic is very, very large. It should not be discussed in this superficial way. The topic must be understood in depth because there are many responses from the Qur’an that confirm that it was revealed by God, and He collected it, interpreted it, clarified it, and preserved it from distortion. Will God refer us to a second book?

If you separate from the main body on issues on which the overwhelming majority of Muslims have consensus, you will be among those who go astray. And for the overwhelming majority of Muslims, the evidence in religion is the Quran, the Sunnah and the consensus of the Companions. Whoever cannot prove his creed and deeds with these, that creed and deed will be rejected from him and that person will be among the losers. “The Jews split into seventy-one sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy in Hell. The Christians split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one of which will be in Hell and one in Paradise. “I swear by the One Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of which will be in Paradise and seventy-two in Hell.” It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, who are they?” He said: “The main body.” (Sunan Ibn Majah 3992) One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sitting amongst us that he dosed off. He then raised his head smilingly. We said: What makes you smile. Messenger of Allah? He said: A Sura has just been revealed to me, and then recited: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Verily We have given thee Kauthar (fount of abundance). Therefore turn to thy Lord for prayer and offer sacrifice, and surely thy enemy is cut off (from the good). Then he (the Holy Prophet) said: Do you know what Kauthar is? We said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It (Kauthar) is a canal which my Lord, the Exalted and Glorious has promised me, and there is an abundance of good in it. It is a cistern and my people would come to it on the Day of Resurrection, and tumblers there would be equal to the number of stars. A servant would be turned away from (among the people gathered there). Upon this I would say: My Lord, he is one of my people, and He (the Lord) would say: You do not know that he innovated new things (in Islam) after you. Ibn Hujr made this addition in the hadith: "He (the Holy Prophet) was sitting among us in the mosque, and He (Allah) said: (You don't know) what he innovated after you" (Sahih Muslim 400a)

All muslims must accept & follow ahadith depending on their degree of authenticity but I think Ali is wrong when said we should follow the majority rather we should follow the mojarity of the righteous who are the Sahaba i.e. the componanions of the prophet whom Allah & his messenger vouched for

"And most of the people, although you strive [for it], are not believers." - Quran (12:103) ►"Alif Lam Mim Ra. These are the verses of the Book; and that which is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most people do not believe." - Quran (13:1) "Do you think that most of them hear or understand? For they are merely like cattle; nay, even worse than them." - Quran (25:44) "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand?" - Quran (36:62) "They will say: “Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they turned us away from the Right Way." - Quran (33:67) Infact no majority community turned to belief except Prophet Yunus community. Most of the majority are cattle and wrongdoers and were destroyed. Flee to Allah alone.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “ There will come to the people years of treachery, when the liar will be regarded as honest, and the honest man will be regarded as a liar; the traitor will be regarded as faithful, and the faithful man will be regarded as a traitor; and the Ruwaibidah will decide matters.’ It was said: ‘Who are the Ruwaibidah?’ He said: ‘Vile and base men who control the affairs of the people. ’”
