I have so many Bibles and I get so overwhelmed with which one to pick up and read that I end up not reading any of them. Thank you so much, Cat, this was so helpful!

Great video and very insightful on your part. We are blessed to be in a country to have access so many bibles, but it can be overwhelming/ overstimulating with all the info and choices. Especially when most of us in this day and age have to process so much in a day and just need to rest. Believe it or not your advice here is right in line with the neuroscience of how our brains work in processing choices. By reframing the anxiety of decision making one then can take constructive action😻

I love my physical bibles but I also have 4 bibles on my kindle. You can change the font to whatever is comfortable for you and sometimes it's nice to have something light in your hand to take with you and to look at 1 page at a time. You can also get free bibles on there and very low priced bibles on there. It is great to have a lot of options.

Good advice! I have so many Bibles that I stopped counting. I'm never overwhelmed by them though. I just have them all around me and grab them and use them for my Studies. And I carry the one that shouts the loudest to my Bible Study Group or Church. Loved your suggestions! ❤

Perfect timing that I found this video. I have been overwhelmed, but I love your suggestions. Assigning a theme would make it much easier; then I would know based on how I’m feeling that day what theme I might need. Thank you for you insight!

With over 80 bibles and plans for at least 20 more my method is to read each book of the Bible in 3 separate study bibles then move to the next book in those 3 same bibles. Once I have finished those 3 I start over with 3 new study bibles. With some effort you can get through 6 a year.

Great tips sis, and I like that you are working up the week towards being more involved and deeper into the Word as the week goes along. Monday is like a warm up and you get deeper and deeper leading up to Sunday. After I go to church on Sunday, Monday needs to be a reading day. I am so like this!! I often have more than 2 or 3 open at once because of translations and also because I just love them so much. I agree - that the confusion over the bibles to use is the Devil and then we drop the bible altogether! Sometimes I use a bible for reading, I don't want to journal. Sometimes I want to just colour. Having a bible for a different mood and purpose, planning it out, all helps. Love you sis!

Thank you for all your suggestions - I also use a different Bible for each study group I am a part of and for teaching my Sunday School class so that is three Bibles right there - I am glad I am not the only one with so many Bibles!

exactly about as soon as getting one Bible another 'must have' comes out. I'm overwhelmed with Bibles and pretty much halted on buying and have been pulling out certain ones to focus on then when I feel like moving on to something else I'll pick another that I have then come back to the others as well.

I have 69 Bibles! What i need is stickers and ephemera!

I thought to my self and was thinking I had to many Bible's, But you have a good amount and they nice. The small garden purple one you have. I have one but it a bigger size I take to Church, And I would say some Bible's have a bit more in them like devotionals, or some would have a part that explain scriptures and I do go back and forth and I enjoy it and I'm getting deeper in the word of God.

I know! 😢 I wish I had 10 arms and 13 sets of eyes so I could hold all the Bibles and read them at the same time haha!

I have like 10 Bibles and can't ever decide which one I want to use lol

So I have been chewing myself up lately because I just recently purchased a new Bible. I wanted a real premium Bible and this was such a good tool. My wife said that it might not be at this extraordinary price for long. It is comparable to a Cambridge or R A Allen and retails for 199.00. If I purchased it from a premium Bible publisher it might be 300.00 or more which I could not even consider buying as I am on a VERY tight budget. Anyway, i was going to torturously scrape and save, but my wife was concerned of Amazon's price increasing, so she recommended the credit card which I wasn't even considering. I already have Bibles, it is Lent, am I wrongfully indulging myself (I am Orthodox)? Also am I just verbally satisfying my covetousness, am I being avarice? I almost cancelled my purchase but didn't. Anyway it is such a quality and luxurious Bible for the price and I feel so guilty. I may already have posted a comment to you about this, but between the confusion of social media and my extreme dissonance I could understand why. Great vid by the way. Just saw your other one on the rosary. I liked your adaptation of it. As an Orthodox, I use a prayer rope, so much easier than the rosary. For every knot you pray the Jesus Prayer, Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on me a sinner. Every ten knots is a bead and you recite the Lord's Prayer. Any way, great tips and vids. Think I could easily become a "Cat freak." Thank you.

I 💘 the ideas but may I suggest giving some away. I teach kids Bible stories and many do not have one in their homes or aren't allowed to touch their parent's. If you have more than one, you have one you may 🎁. Will you please share the Good News don't be overwhelmed by it? 💝

AND you go to work? Wow...it's hard to be compassionate when you work outside the home, unless it is a job with other Christians. Not that I deny my faith, but it's just hard. Jesus is the most closest friend I have, but it is harder for me among unbelievers. Not that I am swayed...but that it is just plain hard.
