My smoothies don’t include a scoop of protein powder but you could easily add it. Ingredients: 1 frozen banana, couple frozen strawbs, hand full of frozen blueberries OR frozen mango, 2 big spoon fulls of vanilla or strawberry yogurt, then add enough water or milk to allow it to blend smoothly. Can also add spinach if you’re feeling it. ENJOY! Frozen bananas are the secret to a BOMB smoothie

Also Eric for smoothies use frozen fruit instead of using fresh fruit and ice cubes. It’s a game changer! You can either get the mixed fruit bags or individual bags (ex. Bananas, mangos, blueberries, etc). Quick high protein smoothie recipe= 1/2 cup frozen bananas 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1/2 cup yogurt (greek or regular is fine) 1-2 scoops of protein of your choice 1 tbsp of any nut butter 1-2 cups of almond milk (depends on how boujee your blender is) (1/2 cup of oats is optional if you need extra carbs/calories)

Would highly recommend Will Tennyson for more lifting content (he’s also a bodybuilder). Going to the gym consistently + eating in a slight caloric surplus will get you massive gains. If you want to change things up, you could try doing more compound movements at the gym and give powerlifting a whirl. Good luck on your gym journey!

my go to smoothie recipe: 2 tbsp yogurt a FROZEN banana (natural sweetener) 1/2 cup of mango 1/2 cup of pineapple a handful of spinach one scoop of protein powder u can sub either the mango or pineapple with berries and is super delishhh 💯

btw for Bulgarian split squats you want your front leg to be more foreword your back leg should make about a 110-130 degree angle with the bench and your body. It just depends if you feel more of a stretch with either version. If there is more stretch in your version stay with yours but if there is more in the one I advise go with that one.

for bulgarians - if you want extra support and balance, can do them on the smith machine (hook your foot over the bar over a bar pad). Can set up by sitting back on the hooked foot, extend the working leg so both knees match, and stand up

Good Smoothie Recipe: • Protein Yogurt • Frozen Mixed Berries ( match to yogurt amount ) • Honey ( replaces sugar ) • Peanut Butter • Almond Milk ( *optional* to help blend ) If you're feeling extra, you can make it into a smoothie bowl. Add cut up banana/berries/strawberries with some oats, or drizzle extra honey on top.

my go-to 45g protein smoothie that fits into one nutribullet sized cup is 2 servings of frozen mixed berries(or any FROZEN fruit you want, frozen is key because you don't need to add extra ice which dilutes the bev), 1 serving greek yogurt (I use Kirkland so 17g P), 1 cup fairlife fat free milk (13g P), and one scoop of protein powder (25g P for gold standard). if I'm feeling crazy ill throw in a coconut or zero sugar added strawberry outshine popsicle in that thang too

frozen fruit also allows for mfs to get certain fruits that might not be in season and it's also way cheaper and I would argue its better quality than fresh fruit because how they have to immediately freeze it upon harvest but fresh fruit goes through the supplychain for days at a time before you use it

i started doin bulgarians recently too pro tip is to wear high top shoes and rest ur back leg ankle on the barbell of the smith machine on the lowest level it’s usually a good height and provides much more stable support

AMAZING smoothie/shake recipe: banana, vanilla extract, oat milk, cinnamon powder, almond butter, spinach (optional; its really for the green color and veggie intake it adds nothing to the flavor), granola or dried oats, and ice.

for smoothies i do frzn banana + frzn mixed berries (costco) + whole milk + choc protein pwdr (green lid at costco) + granola + XYZ nut butter / just use frzn fruits to get thiccer consistency i dont mess with yogurt i just eat it on its own bc too much makes the smoothie taste like ass and granola is optional i just like the fiber so i dont shit bricks

Your legs will thank you once you get good with Bulgarians and go heavier. I would suggest doing quad focused Bulgarians and RDLs one day then do forward lunges (for quads) and reverse lunges (for glutes/hamstring) on your next workout day for variations in your routine.

1:11 - i recommend using one dumbbell for rdls. Holding the dumbbell on whichever side your leg is elevated on, and letting the dumbbell rest vertically on the leg that is elevated. It should give you more stability(u should be activating ur core). Side note - you should be able to go a little heavier too since your using one dumbbell. 👍🏽🫶🏽 Another Edit - kettle bells can also make it a little easier.

Eric I'm a natural bodybuilder. Shake Advice; don't use the fresh berries. Use frozen banana (pre slice and freeze it makes life way easier). My recipe is as follows; 155g Frozen Banana 50g Plant Protein 30g Oats 12g Powdered PB (maybe flavor extract like Maple/Cake Batter) 180ml Almond Milk 180ml Water Add all and blend it. Life changing. Get yuge bro.
