idk if this will help you but it definitely helps me - on my off days when I feel like trash or for whatever other reason don't want to go to the gym I just zone back into my noobie mindset (easy for me I started literally last year) and just go in and try to have fun with it and ill do literally whatever and just fk around even if its not an "XYZ day" like ill go on a run on my chest day or ill do rows on a leg day if I'm really not feeling it as long as I'm taking care of myself mentally and physically at the end of the day its just what makes me happy and fulfilled
