GT3 vs GT4 difference is not massive on paper but everything adds up to a way more impressive package

I think they changed it because lots of tourist drivers binned going over it. If you check up any Nordschleife crash compilations you will see a ton of them at the old Fuchsröhre curb. A skill issue for sure, but making it uncuttable prevents people from extending beyond their capabilities. Which of course also ruins it for the people that liked the old curb.

Actually new Fuchsröhre is quicker, the whole way going down is smooth, the compression is much lesser which means you carry much more speed without bottoming the suspension. Would be interesting to see both a road car (like a track M3 or 911 GT3) and a proper race car (GT4 or RSR) showing data of old vs new Fuchsröhre

@fedolfs Well, all they did was raise the curb, and that wouldn't make the corner any faster. The old curb was, however, not necessary to go fast. It just felt 'right' to hit it. The people complaining about the new curb aren't debating on whether the changes made the corner any slower or faster. They argue that the new curb makes the corner 'feel' worse. A sentiment that I agree with. But that's also the reason why tourist drivers kept aiming for it too aggressively and crashing. Which is why, I think, they raised it.

Hopefully with luck and results Black Falcon put them in GT3 along with Bilstein, What a combo

Even a bronze license can get Jimmer in the door to a lotta GT3 events, really. He just needs to be in a fairly nice team with pros that can push him a little more.

Unfortunatally Steve whilst on last lap of stint had blowout on döttinger höhe at over 250kph and like a damn legend kept the car out of barriers, will leave rest to the incoming vid's from the lads to explain rest, was an epic weekend one way or other for B;ack Falcon/Bilstein
