Hello everyone. The video shows my veryday Kitchen Routine including breakfast, lunch and dinner Indian Kitchen Routines. This is a typical Indian Mom Routine.
Ragi Upma Recipe
Ingredients :
1. For tempering
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urid Dal - 1 tsp
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - 5 to 6
Green Chillies - as per taste
Onion - 1 small
2. Veggies
Carrots - 1 small
Capsicum or bell peppers - 1/4 of medium sized
Or any veggies of your choice like Spinach, drumstick leaves etc
Ragi flour - 1 cup
Water - 2 Cups
Salt - as per taste
Method :
Heat oil in pan. Add tempering ingredients. When Onion is translucent add other veggies. Add 1 tablespoon water, close with lid and cook veggies. When veggies have cooked add 2 cups water, bring to boil. Add salt to taste and Ragi flour. Do not mix Ragi flour with water, do as shown in video. Close with lid and cook for 6 to 7 minutes. Switch off flame and add grated coconut and mix well.
Ready to serve.
