I have been following your advice and I am slowly building an emotional connection again. She texts me first sometimes and has now stopped giving me one word answers when I text her. We have a ways to go as she still isn't ready to begin spending time with me, but I'm committed to the process.

Same here my ex is now texting me more and laughing a bit too. We texted for about a week straight everyday but she hasn’t texted me in two days. It’s a slow process but worth it if we are patient. Good luck!

Updates? I’ve been seeing my ex several times in the last week and a half and calls me daily, and he acts sometimes like he’s still my bf but we broke up 7 weeks ago, it’s a long process

Don't give up raise up, embrace who you are be in peace within yourself and work daily on yourself. I have not giving up on my man either - broke 2 hearts 11 years ago. Still working on it. Stay strong. Fight for what you believe in. And be one hell of a queen.

Do you have proof? Our mind is strong and we have a lot of fantasy, its filling blanks a lot of times. And if he is lying then apply the same tactic. Be a queen , embrace who you are, work on yourself, thats how you show him what he is missing out on. In time you will find someone who sees your value.. and then my dear your still a queen shining so you will win none of the less. So its about who your gonna be with. In the end YOU are gonna be happy. Picture that and work on yourself. ☺️ And Smile your awesome!

my ex has expressed possibly wanting to get back together, this happened on two separate occasions, but said he " needed to be better " before trying again. he recently reached out asking for more contact but has felt cold and and a bit pulled back, what does this mean and what do you think i should do?

Hi clay, I’m really wanting to identify what stage my ex of six years is at cause I can’t figure it out! We talk basically everyday. Over text all day or she will call me often on her way home from work. She has a new girlfriend. She’s okay to talk about her feelings with me about family problems or issues in her life. We also just chit chat Mostly share what we do through the day etc. However, she still maintains that she’s NOT confused and has zero feelings for me. Even though she says things like “i can’t make time for you and my new girlfriend because I don’t have enough time, it’s so hard and I’m confused I don’t know what to do to make you both happy”. She maintains we are only friends. There’s no hot and cold, she just denies any feelings all together. If I say to her I love you and I miss you she won’t say it back but she will seggust to come and see me. She occasionally teases me heaps like playfully makes fun of me to make me laugh, (how we used to flirt). She’s also complained to me a few times before about the new girlfriends “red flags”. She’s not open to discussing getting back together. (I really hurt her), What stage does this sound like?

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like your ex may be at the Riding the Dragon phase for now. But it may still change from one phase to another depending on the internal and external factors that she will go through in her personal life.
