@@JPression im over her. It just takes time to accept that a person is gone. We just gotta accept it and move on ahead. Its hard but some relationships dont work, and the separation hurts, she just wanted my attention, played mind games and stuff like that. Eventually after so much time you just get fed up and not really care ab them anymore.

@@heliosabhi4292 i am going thru something kinda similar, My ex broke with me about 2 months ago...we were together for 7 years...for the last 2 year of our relationship i went through severe depression and i as of recently i couldnt get work due to the covid outbreak....one week after she broke up with me(by text) she was on tinder and has been dating multiple guys every week....it kills my soul...i dream about me and my ex getting back together every single night.its hard to explain the heartache...i know how you feel..im so sorry your going through this...Just know that you arent alone and everyday there are so many ppl that feel the heartache that you do. Hang in there, Joanne! It sucks. It's dark. It feels almost insurmountable because, in some ways, it is. You're fighting your chemistry, your emotions, your brain, your entire history, your childhood wounds, and so much more...and it's uber unfair! It's like 10 to one. They've ganged up on you! Realizing that is a breakthrough first step, or can be. It was for me. Once I realized what I was up against, I stopped beating myself up and cut myself some slack. "Oh, well of course I'm losing. All these powerful forces have ganged up on me and outmaneuvered me. I can control some of it, but not all of it!" And here's the deal: NO ONE CAN. I was in my 50's and had been through (too) many relationships, loss, challenges, struggles, and had worked on myself for years, including therapy. And I was still devastated. I didn't have the coping skills I thought I had. I realized I couldn't handle it and needed medication for the first time in my life. Let me be very clear: not saying you should do this, but my two points are: realize this and be kind to you, and realize you need to triage and call in the cavalry and there's no shame in that. The opposite. It's self-care and self-love. It's empowering. It's you, taking control of your life and your future. We can't change the past but we can decide what our future looks like. Really. As for the "cavalry," that can be a lot of things. The resources are there, from the redoubtable Clay and others on line (I love Alan Robarge, Stephanie Lyn, and Dr. Les Carter, but there are many) to actual counseling, co-counseling, support groups. Do things you love, travel, lean on family and friends, read! and even lean into this! It's a golden opportunity (though it sure doesn't feel that way at all, I know) to learn, grow, forgive, show yourself some mercy and tenderness. Eat chocolate, do some gardening, volunteer for a nonprofit. Clay talks all about this; finding things you cherish, love, floats your leaky boat. I am so sorry this happened to you, Joanne. It's so tragic and cruel that something that's so wonderful - love - causes so much pain in this world. More pain than pleasure, and that's just a natural fact. That's the deal. There's no happiness without a lot of pain, even in relationships that work, that last. As Clay says, your best life awaits. I know. It may not seem that way right now. Not at all. But trust me. And Clay. Meanwhile, take care of yourself in any way you can until you truly get to that place...

My gf got a new guy , she's philipina and I'm indian tho we had planned alot of stuff and could have happened soon 2years of ldr and she left me for someone else , she. Came back while she was in relationship with that new guy which i didn't knew , basically cheated .... I really am so vulnerable and feel like life is lost , and that nothing will be fine again . I would seriously suggest you and someone in your position to firstly block them. Dude, you gotta have your self respect. Forget hanging out with them, they will miss you and come back for sure.

Hey Aarya, Doing Active No contact is not about ignoring our ex. There are times that we have to respond to the person if the message is important. You can always respond back by saying "thank You" as long as you are mindful that you won't fall in the place of need. It's normal to have some adjustments especially when we try to detach our selves to something that we are used to doing before. but it all takes discipline and commitment if you really want the Active No Contact to work.

@@ClayAndrews well there's really not much to do these days courtesy corona, but I am through my final year of business school and she's gonna go to business school next month, I'd start working and she starts her school, I seriously want to give her the space and I try too, but she tells me we can talk and she talks nicely too, she doesn't wanna talk about us in that while and she has temper issues, I am really confused, we're at riding the dragon stage and I think I am doing things right but it always goes badly, what do I do? See obviously your relationship is not over, but there has to be one aspect that they're not happy with and they keep coming back to see if it's still there, you need to communicate with them, build an emotional understanding with them so that she can feel happy and safe the way she did at the start of your relationship, the rebound means nothing cause it just kills negative thoughts towards you and she genuinely misses you! So keep calm and connect with her and actually fall in love again, it's gonns take a while but it'll be worth it!

@@heliosabhi4292 Done all that...Shes stubborn and insecure....can't be on her own....The rebound is insecure too...she knows I want her back...but I'm maintaining a happy positive outlook (lost 20 kgs)...which makes her curious...I think...
