It's terrifying. I had this happen 3 weeks ago,I had gas and air for 12 hours then when they put a monitor clip on my baby boys head inside I got a huge amount of pain and I knew it wasn't contractions at this point. They had 7 minutes to get my baby boy out or he would have suffocated. Thank God and the team I had working on my son and I,he just needed to be in an oxygen bed for an hour and he and I where ok. My organs where apparently all stuck together as well so it took them 2 hours from start to finish to do the operation. Just knowing my baby boy was safe and well was the biggest relief ever! It is very traumatic, but a blessing that it was caught quickly enough to save my sweet son 😊❤

Thank you for this video. This is what happened to me a few days before my 2nd planned cesarean. Early contractions theough the night and consequently a cesarean in the morning but no emergency cesarean as the hospital staff was oblivious of what was going on inside me. The rupture of 8 cm was discovered during c-section. We were so lucky. Baby and I were safe. Baby had some trouble breathing and swallowed meconium and spent three days in NICU. It could have gone terribly wrong.

I hope you see this and can give me some insight.. I’ve had 3 babies, all vaginally. My second one, I could tell the top of my uterus was very weak (you could push on my belly and there seemed to be no muscle at the top at all). This caused a huge amount of pain for me in the area of weakness. My third delivery was just 2-3 months ago and the pain was in the same spot but even worse. During delivery, everyone in the room heard a “pop” and I felt it my uterus. Ever since, things have not been normal. I’m still cramping and having full pain in my uterus 3 months later… I’m having random days of bloody discharge. I have seen NO info on this anywhere and my dr seems clueless. Did my uterus rupture during delivery? If so, am I supposed to have surgery to fix it or what should I do?

Hi love, the risk for uterine rupture is about 1 in 200 with vbac. Your ob or midwife can also talk about what your specific risks are. Ask if your uterus was stitched once or twice with the previous section. Single layer stitching carries a higher risk of later rupture. Then you will need to compare the risks of vbac to the risks of 2nd cesarean. Only u can make the ultimate decision, but your provider has the duty to make sure your decision is fully informed. Good luck to you!

I really hope answer me back with this comment cause I had my son 4 months ago an my labor was doing okay first 7 hours or so my water broke on its own, me I'm thinking yay he should hopefully be here in a few hours but lady worked at the hospital kept coming in cause kept losing my babies heart beat since thing tracks it was moving a lot. So lady c9me back in after about 15th time trying fix it says let's put this thing up in my uterus to tract my contractions. Ends up coming in few mins later with this thing an sticks it in an all over a sudden I get this horrible pain an blood start gushing out I filled 6 towels with blood! Also they had came in few mins before they did that to put me on oxygen cause apparently the baby wasn't getting enough oxygen to his body for some reason. After they done whatever they did to me my blood pressure kept dropping an dropping an dropping so dr came in says going have to have emergency c section cause I dont like how your blood pressure kepts going down. Take mind this is when I go in freak out mood cause he was so worried an everyone made me feel like I was about to die which was possible but thank goodness my husband an whole family came in prayed over me before went back get my c section my blood pressure was 80 over 40 an kept dropping. Then all of a sudden an soon as I got back there it went up the nurse was shocked I told her cause lord was by my side!! But a week later my husband cousins wife had a baby an week after her my sister had her baby an they both told me everyone there knows me. Which is true cause when went up there to see them both kept saying my name an my husband cousins wife said they call me 80 over 40. Do you think this was a uterine rupture? My doctor or anyone there would tell me what it was , they were like keeping it a secret from me. Now 4 months later it is very uncomfortable to have sex have horrible pressure an bruising feeling inside of my uterus area. There is no way for me to get comfortable! I just really need some understanding of what this could of been an what in should do. Went in the the hospital that day to be induced but was already having contractions on my own. My body just wasn't recognizing it cause 10 hours later I was 1 cm. Thank you in advance if answer back really hope you do please!!! Sorry dont know how to use punctuation ma'am
