This was very helpful ma'am. I'm not in the Military, but I worked in EMS (taking a break for right now, but going back to it soon hopefully) and for women, you have to either have your hair up in a bun or tied back in a pony tail, you can't keep your hair down. I've been putting my hair in the same style as you showed in this video, but I more do the twist going down the sides more flat and doesn't stand out as much, but I really can't wait to try the way you did in your video.

Thank you for the tutorial. I always wonder how you did that twist. I do something similar but its a long twist from to back flip and tuck. Its great seeing this hair style being used i have been doing it in uniform since 1998 and it makes the uniform look sharp.

yes, you need to have a bachelors degree, age wise im pretty certain (dont count my word for this one) you need to be between 18-35

Idk if you ever got an answer for this question but yes, permanent makeup is allowed as long as it's not too dark or dramatic. I'm in the AF (tech school).

Can someone please help me!! Are pony tails allowed in BMT I’ve been told they don’t accept the new regulation. I have short hair and the ONLY way I can get it all back is in the SMALLEST of pony tails. Will I be allowed to wear my hair like this? Has anyone had girls in their flight have very small pony tails. PLEASE HELP

Pony tails that don’t go past the bottom of your collar have been allowed before the new reg came out ☺️ some girls in my flight had to do that

@@mariahhammond6583 Thank you for your reply. That is what I have heard from a few people, but some were saying it depends on your MTI. If an MTI wants buns, you are gonna try to get it up in a bun of some sort. My plan is to get it cut so it makes a full pony tail, but the smallest of pony tails lol. Thanks again! :)

Who told you that MTIs determine the regulations? Because that's BS. The AF allows women to wear their hair DOWN, if it doesn't go past your shoulders. Short hair doesn't need to be in a bun or braid. However, I definitely advise pulling/pinning it back from your face. You can twist it like this and secure it with those little clear hair-ties, or hair clips that are black or match your hair color. I just graduated BMT on 03 Nov 2022, these are the regulations determined by the Air Force NOT random MTIs.
