My favorite Alpine loop | Solo Backpacking the ALICE-TOXAWAY LAKE LOOP 

The Alice Lake to Toxaway Lake Loop is a 20.6 mile loop trail near Stanley, Idaho. I hiked this amazing trail through the Sawtooth Wilderness Area and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. There are so many beautiful lakes to explore and many ares for camping. I hiked this trail on September 11th and 12th. I did this hike in a counterclockwise motion, starting at the Tin Cup Hiker Trailhead at Pettit Lake. I hiked first towards Farley and Toxaway Lakes before climbing over Snowyside Pass. I camped directly in between the Twin Lakes and explored Alice Lake on my hike out.
