Lake Chickamauga was ranked the #2 Bass lake in the United States. That's what drove me to move from Auburn, Alabama to Tennessee to explore this beautiful bass fishing lake. Follow along my journey as I attempt to catch trophy bass, hone my craft, entertain, and share my learning experiences.
My favorite baits right now are Chatterbait, Alabama rig (A-Rig), Crankbait, Jerkbait, Shaky Head, Frogs. These will probably change as we start to approach Prespawn and Spawn.
Favorite Equipment: Shimano Curado, Duckett rods, Nitro Boats, Mercury Motors, Toyota Trucks, Go pro.

Do you ever try a fluorocarbon leader on braid? Or just straight braid 100%? Any concerns with them seeing it in clear shallow waters? I’m just recently getting into swim jigs. I’m a chatterbait fisherman more than anything, but expanding my arsenal a bit.

I know they work but just never got into a swim jig. Now bladed jigs different story, of course I slow roll them. Great info, learn and teach.

Try out the Greenfish Tackle jig! I have fished a swimjig as my favorite go to lure for 10 years now and this jig and the Terminator believe it or not are the best! they have the best balance and small line tie. I have found on pressured fish a smaller diameter hook has better results not to mention hooks fish easier and has better balance when fishing the jig up on top.

Havent read all the comments so this may have been asked....but I love chatter baits, when and why would you choose a swim jig over a chatter bait? Ive never thrown a swim jig, always thought that a chatter would do the same thing.

Added this set up to my arsenal and Wow!! This swim jig set-up is legit. I got my fishing buddies turned on to this set-up and we are all catching good numbers using the white on white set-up..Thanks for the tip!!

3/8 is the best size all around the bored. if you want if high in the water column ( 1/4 ) lower in the water column ( 1/2 )

Your one hell of a fisherman thanks for the video. I just used that technique Sunday on Lake Wylie fishing from bank and did catch one nice keeper, and a couple dinks on other baits, however just want to point out that white swim jig works at night too !

How long do you throw that white color for? When do you switch from that to a natural color and such?

Soon as the shad spawn i Starts use white. Change to green pumpkin around bream beds and black and blue is prespawn or just muddy water or tanic water
