Hi Meonicorn! I read "Last Night at the Telegraph Club" in 2022 and like you I absolutely loved it! I'm usually a slow reader but I was so invested in the story and the characters that I read the final hundred pages in a single day. It's very disappointing that the companion book isn't good, but thank you for reviewing it in your other video so that I know not to pick it up. 😅 "Elena knows" is one of the books I want to get to next, as soon as it is available at my library. I can't wait to read it and hopefully love it a lot!
Haha wow a hundred of pages in a single day, that's so impressive! I'm so happy you loved Last Night... as much as I did! Yea the sister novel is such a shame, I'm glad I helped others save time by not picking it up LOL I hope you enjoy Elena Knows when you get to it - Weirdly I can't stop thinking about it after making this video!.
Ooh Flames and the Neighbour sounds very interesting! I guess I will have to wait for the English translation! Eleanor Oliphant is a lovely read, it definitely warms my heart. Wowww Last night at the Telegraph club sounds so good! Excellent video, I loved hearing your summary of the books and why you enjoyed each book.
Haha yea such a shame that a lot of books are not translated into other languages yet! Last Night at the Telegraph Club was so good and I am still excited when thinking about it haha. And thank you Xx
XD I hope you enjoy it!!! It's truly a master piece! I have yet to read any Tolstoy, maybe I will do that this year 🤔 So we are like, exchanging classics to read lol
@@TheBookishLand I will say, I found Anna Karenina to be a very easy to follow classic (apart from a bit of farming lol). Reading Wuthering Heights right now and it's so much more difficult for me lol
i read les miserables a couple of years ago for the first time and was blown away by it..i sent my copy to my nephew who was in prison and he raved about it and passed it on to other prisoners which made me very happy.
