I actually met the girl who played Anna of cleaves. I was going to see the show in nyc and I was wearing a six shirt. She said hi and said she liked my shirt, I diddnt realize it was her till I was at the show 💀
I know heart of stone makes a lot of people cry but for me it's always "all you wanna do". She was a child, hell part of the chorus is "playtime's over" 😢 it gets me every single time.
Honestly I was quite literally shell shocked when I ACTUALLY realized what the lyrics was telling us. The catchy beat and melody really masks the sickening story and that makes the design of Katherine Howard's part in the musical and what happens in real life to many abused people really chilling 😢
I love Anna's little soliloquy about "how could anyone over come a fate a devastating as being forced to move into a resplendent palace in Richmond with more money than I could spend in a lifetime and not a single man around to tell me what to do with it", it makes me laugh every time!
the line "too many years lost in history" hits differently, because of the 2 meanings, lost in HISTORY being as their stories were forgotten, and HIS STORY being as the stories couldn't be told. also the fact only Parr wore pants because shes the only one who told a different story
Nah because when I saw six and they did all you wanna do ACTUALLY broke down in tears not the script but literally even the other actresses were like “oh shi* she ok?” At the end of the song Anna of cleves was like “no seriously guys I don’t think that was part of our script.” To anne boelyn.
Samantha pauly thinks about sad things that have happened to her, but sometimes they fo actually make her cry. Some people think its just to make her role that much better, but she may act a little different and wipe her face if she actually cried, but knowing samantha pauly being the icon that she is, she will calm down that quickly. If it wasnt samantha pauly, idk. But yeah thats a little tip learned from Samantha pauly🤓👍
She was actually sad, she makes sure she starts crying to ensure her performance is good. (K howard doesnt cry over the story, samantha pauly cried because she thinks of sad things that have happened to her and it makes her performance that much better.) but yeah
I love it too! The only problem I have with the fandom is comparing. 😅 Most people compare one actress to another actress. Like for example, they’ll say: “Oh, Millie’s Anne was better than Andreas” when the musical is basically about not comparing- Like, I know people have their favorites but can’t they be a little nicer and not compare? 😂
I ABSOLUTELY love when Katherine Howard realises that what all those men have done to her wasn't right, those little flinches at the touch of the hands, the pain in her voice, I love EVERYTHING about "All You Wanna Do"
OMG I get it. Since the only thing we have in common is our husband grouping us is an inherently comparative act and unnecessarily elevates an historical approach ingrained in patriarchal structures. Yea I read
Tbh I'd be so afraid of being in the front just because of Anna's song. I can't dance 😭 so I'd probably genuinely cry from embarrassment if she called me out. And I'd DEFINITELY cry if she told me to do better
From what I've seen she always picks the person in the middle row in the right most seat, so I would avoid sitting there, but other than that you should be fine.
Sadly, we didn't get one since the OG actors of Catherine of Aragon (Adrianna Hicks), Jane Seymour (Abby Mueller), and Catherine Parr (Anna Uzele) left the Six musical
Katherine H: ARE YOU READY FOR A ROYALLLL HAPPPY EVER AFTERRRRR?!?!?!?!?! Crowd: YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 Katherine: …well we don’t have one 🤠🤠🤠
@@xureez seriously... thank you. I don't even remember how I stumbled on to your part 1 of these, but I have a friend who saw this one on Broadway & could not stop raving about how amazing this was. After watching these two videos, I totally understand why! 😊 Sadly I still haven't seen Wicked & a lot of other great shows that haven't been released to buy(blu-ray/streaming/something) & won't get the chance until/unless. So thank you for making these & thank you to the others on this thread who have suggested other ways to possibly find it (big hugs to all) 🤗
Recently got to see it on broadway, it was amazing. Idk if it wasn't in the show when you watched it, but Anna *literally* dropped down *LOW* during get down, and to say i was gay panicking was an understatement. At that point my friends wheren't even watching the show, they where watching me be a flustered mess XD Also, Heart of stone gave me chills. And all you wanna do? I wasn't ready. Katherine Protection Squad PLEASE!
“Heart of Stone” was just the highlight for me on the rainy sort of sad night that I saw it. Thank you for adding that. Would love the whole show-it’s all soooo good!!!
I definitely want the whole show 😛 I'm manifesting watching this live, but I'll be hard, in the mean time I'll get what I can, thank you so so SO much for sharing
Legit I cried when I heard Jane's song for the first (it was the og british one of course) back in January of 2020, althou the first song I heard of Six, was Katherine Howard's song "All You Wanna Do", but then heard the others, and well, when I disovered Jane's song, I legit cried, for how sad it was and for how beautiful the voice was, like it is one of the best songs that Six has, along with "Get Down" and "Haus Of Holbein". I honestly cannot help it but, laugh whenever I hear "Haus Of Holbein" Idk why, but I burst out laughing XD. Like I find it so funny hearing the cast inmitating the german accent lol
I almost started crying when I saw this show in person and they started counting down instead of just five more minutes, it was so good and i was so sad it was ending
Ik I am late to this but I feel so bad for how Katherine H was treated honestly she wanted someone to truly love her and she always thought it was different so she tried everything to get a man to truly love her for who she is and not want her body
My fave is No Way, but honestly I Don't Need Your Love REALLY is growing on me. The song is beautiful of course, but I really like is how Catherine Parr is depicted as an earnest person in the musical; it fits thematically that the last queen is the one to enlighten everyone and bringing this to a fulfilled conclusion to the story, but also with how the real life Catherine Parr 's likely caring and compassionate nature (she apparently had a close relationship with Mary, Elizabeth, Edward) and intelligence (she wrote books and was involved in her Elizabeth and Edward's education); it also somewhat fits the myth surronding her, that she had good nursing skills 💙💙💙
AAAAA why is my video low quality-? RU-vid sucks :,) Edit: my quality fixed, it was just my internet 😂❤ Thank you so much guys for your patience and yaa 😎 Fun fact: I’m going to see Six in march but my mom doesn’t know a thing about it so hopefully she at least likes it considering she payed 300+ dollars for the tickets- 😅
I've seen the footage posted on RU-vid (another copy of the show). It's shot from the other side of the stage. I would LOVE to see this one, full show! The camera work is very good for a boot!
He got down on one knee but I said no way pack my bags and moved into a nunurie joined the gosful choir at top of the chart is were I going to stay. Edit continue
I want part 3 for sure 😍😍😍 I was hoping to see the part, where Parr asks the other queens about previous kings Henry and their wives, but wasn't in neither part one or two, so yeah, possibly it can happen in part 3🤞😅
Thanks for making these vids of little clips of six the musical so i can watch instead of the whole musical. These really help me because me and my 2 other friends are performing six (yes the whole musical. With 3 people.. im Boyeln and Howard :D)to our favorite teacher who also enjoys six, so i need to watch the movements, costumes, voices, etc.. I really appriciate it and this will help me alot :D
Katherine Howard is THE BEST. She's absolutely roasting the living *_shit_* out of everyone there, being a sass queen and backing up all of the vocals before delivering the most heart-wrenching song in the musical??? Stunning, amazing, showstopping, never been done before 😌
Is no one going to talk abt how parr is such a bad ass but at the same time went through a sad time, multiple husbands dying, and when she found somone one who she thought would stay she had to let him go because of Henry
The last song always gets me 😩😩😩 its almost midnight and im waving to my laptop with tears in my eyes and this happens every time a musical ends shcbgewhbcvgshjndbfgydjb i just want a musical without an end and i will be happy
