Oh YESSS! That prairie skirt is sooooooo beautiful! I love how swishy it is! And I totally feel the excitement of having skirts (or dresses) with pockets (especially when they're "secret" pockets)! And I love the tan "Adventure" skirt! It's Indiana Jones-ish and also makes me think of Jane (from the original animated Tarzan).

Wee wee Marie you like natural fibres and colours available before chemical dyes made super bright and loud colours available. It’s a great way to shop clothing. I have several linen shirts and dresses and they are so comfortable especially when it’s really hot because they...,breath 🙂 After realising that unnatural fibre is similar to wearing clothing made of plastic bags...yeah, I really started replacing my wardrobe with natural fibres and colours. Yay.

Wow pretty skirts I am so jelly... and inspired. I can tell you found a silhouette that suits you, and you look so pretty in each of these. I am moving into my own space in a few days and can't wait to pull out my new sewing machine that's not yet been out of it's shipping box (and I bought it a year ago!). I am def going to try my hand at embroidery, or possibly painting since I'm already good at that, and make a light soft Rose Pockets Skirt for the spring and summer. But 1st it's Fall Y'all!
I wear dresses and skirts like every day because its so much easier than pants but you look more put together. Every single pair of pants I own is colorful striped high waisted I own like 1 "normal" pair of jeans and I only really wear them sledding.

I found a vintage (40s-50s era??) LOOKING skirt from the 90s ish that I think you’d love just as much as I do ;) it’s a light forest green longer skirt with buttons down the middle!! It sounds like it was made for you!! My ultimate goal is to look like you so here’s a start. Lol
I have to find one like it, that s my next goal. I went to Savers today, I actually had fun. Only spend about 80.00, Dollars that s not so bad,..! Here s a tip, I usually now try to keep it, to: Ten items of clothing. Not counting scarfs,..! I got 3 skirts and 7 tops. Plus, the most awesome fall, throw ever,..!! I absolutely love it. Finally, I think, my mother likes it, as well. She hasn't said any thing bad, about it, thus far!

My show is mainly about helping others in the world through creativity and love, I have a few guest planed etc. Artist and inspirational people. I have autism (I found out this year and other Nuro divergent issues, ADHD and PTSD. So my show is mainly about getting through that with creativity and hobbies etc. Thanks for being such an inspiration. You rock!

I dunno if you've already looked into them, but I've finally just now got around to ordering a made-to-measure reproduction skirt and dress from xiaolizi on etsy--I love that their designs often include pockets and can be made in different colors upon request which I'm willing to shill out the extra bucks for alone but also because my body type tends to be a pain in the ass. I really hope they're as good as the reviews have glow'd on and on about--if they end up being amazing I'm gonna order a full length evening princess coat for the winter!

I wish it was easier to find clothes like these in the area where I live, if I want any pretty skirts like yours I have to order them online and since Norway hates their citizens we have a 35 limit for any goods bought from other countries, if you pass it you pay 25 % of total costs in taxes :( By the way, your hair is absolutely gorgeous and your figure suits the style you wear so well! Not a lot of the skirts were older than the 80s or long enough for my style, but I found a long black pencil skirt. It has itty bitty polka dots which looks so soooo nice. I also found a black wrap dress that's a little too big for me, but dang it, I will make it work!
I have a problem (?) with having tons of skirts and NO TOPS. Tops for my bust are so difficult! My favorite in your video the dark grey striped 'Edwardian' skirt, beautiful! High waisted or life!

just found your channel and so far am loving it. I have a navy blue version of your mustard yellow skirt with the pockets. a friend just gave it to me as well. I think I've worn it three times since she did. I really love it and when I discovered it had pockets I was like aww yisss lol. I've been wearing it pretty much under my bust because pregnant and that's the smallest part of me that still allows it to zip. I'm also pretty short so it ends up being knee length still even with being 4 and a half months pregnant.
Oh that's awesome! I love coming upon a new skirt and wearing the heck out of it hahaha, and that's cool that you can wear it during pregnancy too, I'm worried about most of my clothes when I eventually decide to have a child hahaha 😊
The Pinup Companion I was pretty tiny beforehand so I haven't had to buy maternity clothes yet. Some of my dresses were a size 2 at the smallest. anything that's a medium or a large or stretches I can still wear for now.
