You totally convinced me to go vintage style. I've been loving it for years and years.. Had a dress here and there.. But never dared to make it my style, even though it fits me and I absolutely love it. You make it less cartoonish than you see on the webshops or something.. Makes it more approachable or something.. I’ve always gravitated towards the more wearable authentic vintage style personally. Not to take away from anybody else’s preferences. I just felt like I was wearing a costume when I wore some of the brighter colored rockabilly style retro stuff, which is weird because I was very into the local punk and psychobilly music “scene”before I got into the traveling gutterpunk then getting clean and began dressing vintage. It’s awesome to see how each person interprets any style as their own and shows how they see it like looking through a prism of their likes and life experiences. I love how the same sort of subculture or style can be so different; a whole spectrum within the same interest.
Honesty, whenever you do hauls, try ons, etc. my heart races. Just seeing all the vintage and vintage looking pieces makes me so happy especially because I'm not in a position to buy any of these things ),: but you look amazing in everything.

I love the clothes! Also yes to Sound of Music aesthetic. Having grown up watching the movie I can't look at curtains without thinking what I can make from it. My mum was about to donate some really ugly 70's pattern fabric and I was like "no, the poor don't want this one!" and claimed it and now am trying to make a skirt out of it that won't look like I cut up a retro couch.

That's what I'm going for! It's really hard to find vintage clothes here in Greece so I try and toss a lot of random outfits together to give the vibe. I just obsessively bookmark vintage and retro clothes websites and sigh behind my monitor :') also retro clothes in Greece have a lot of mustard and olive green and that does not look good on me

Oh the Collectif sale! I bought three dresses which I was eyeing for some time. I love what you bought and everything suits you perfectly. My favorite is the first dress 😍. And your cat....awww what a cutie pie! 😘🌹

Discovered your channel through this video and love it! Collectif clothes are adorable, but I'll only ever buy them on sale (which is on as we speak :-D)... it's all hand-wash since the dye comes off in vaste amounts...

They unfortunately don't sell it anymore on Collectif, but I think they have similar ones if you search "overalls" on their website! You could also just search "overall dress" on several platforms like Etsy, eBay, etc! 😊
You have hip dips, or what I call permanent muffin top. I have loved vintage fashion but I don't have curvy, perfect hips and I have lumps everywhere. You rock the vintage fashion!!!!
Mary Hines Yep hahaha, gotta love those hip dips 😂 That's honestly why I love vintage fashion because I never felt "right" in pants because of my hips, but skirts and dresses hide them so easily hahaha.

Everything you got is so pretty! I absolutely love the pinafore dress and the trousers! I know about the hips thing... Nothing ever fits me on the hips, and if it does, the waist is way too big. 28'' waist, 42'' hips. That's why I am always too scared to order anything online.

Haha, welcome to my life! & I got UK 10 for the pants, which I think translates to a US 6 on their website? These ones were a tiny bit snug around the waist/hips, and rode up the crotch a tiny bit, hahaha. But I find if I go up a size (I did that with their cropped jeans), the upper portion is too loose. Their sizing can be a little weird sometimes.
