This is Part 5 of my blind commentary playthrough of the psychological indie horror game POOLS, developed and published by Tensori and released on April 26, 2024. The game contains 6 chapters total. This video features Chapter 5.
Game Description: Walking simulator. Explore, admire and listen. Uncanny. Relaxing. Unnerving. Eerie. Immersive. No monsters chasing you or jumping towards at your screen, but can feel oppressive at times by invoking fears of getting lost, the dark, tight spaces and liminal space architecture. Thank you for being as confused about the shower/toilet combo as I was. 10:50, "we're doing the funny" 🤭. I have to say, watching your playthrough without the distraction of actually playing the game, I'm in agreement that this might be my favorite section too. This tape had the most as far as variety in the environment.

definitely agree! This chapter had the most variety and for a second I almost thought we were about to enter a liminal mall, and you know how much I LOVE liminal malls. 🤭 Still, really impressed by this one a lot, and I can't be the only one who saw faces on that really long escalator.

For some reason, I found this game less unsettling and more-so relaxing, so much I fell asleep to it, lol.

same here, this game is more relaxing than unsettling...although chapter 6 certainly had its moments!

0:40 Hmm... Why can't we go there? That's very sus... Why is it bricked?? I bet the path at 0:40 that was blocked off was the way to escape...but something or someone wants to make sure we can't. Oof. Yuck, no toilet water for thee. I'm completely soaked in it now...I don't think I'm enjoying myself anymore... 😂 I genuinely got shivers when I saw the hands again. Whoever it is has been stalking me since Chapter 1, no doubt. The trippiness of this adds a whole new dimension to the game, I'm so cool to see the perspective changes, it's almost like Superliminal in a way! Thanks for watching and I'm very happy you enjoyed this one too! One more to go...what's gonna happen? Will I escape? Will I meet my fate? Will I find that cute girl? 😲
