Thank you! Wow you completely nailed what I was going for in that review, probably the most accurate to my intentions with the level as anything I've seen so far. One other thing that might be worth mentioning that you may or may not already know is that I tried to do a similar story type thing in it too. the level starts off during the day and introduces more sunset colors as it progresses, would have finished the level at night but that part got cut along with the 2nd drop. anyways yeah thanks for the seal of approval, I'm hanging that one on my wall next to the picture of my first grade class and badge I got for getting all A's in elementary school.

my favorite 1.9 level has GOT to be death moon. it has an amazing atmosphere that no other 1.9 hell themed level has managed to achieve, largely thanks to the song. despite the fact that the level itself is monochromatic and inspired by cataclysm, the way it uses the color limitations and the variation in each part makes it stand out to me, thanks to the usage of art and different blocks that simulate actual locations. it kind of stuns me that no remake has the same atmosphere as the original level. although if it were by me i'd add a 2 life system due to its length. also, the water splash effect. yes.

tbh my favourite extreme demon is delta interface, i feel like it deserves way more recognition than it got, its still one of the most hype levels ive ever seen and platnuus blend of 1.9-esque block deco techniques and the awesome effects are truly magical, and the song is a complete s tier banger too

Best RobTop level imo is ToE2. I sometimes just start playing it again. It's absurdly fun. Also thank god you have good taste.

KRML is one of the creators where his levels feel like he doesn't know about the small movement buttons.

I think that geometric dominator was a good level music-wise. I hate the memory stance, but the decoration really stands out for me as well as the music. My actual favorite level, as of right now and for probably the rest of time, is theory of everything 2.

Saturn V and Dark Travel are amazing imo

Some of my favorite demons are Magma Bound and Omicron (when it comes out) And my favorite official level by Rob is Blast Proccesing

My top 5 is 5-Super Probably Level 4-The Eschaton 3-Butiti II 2-Magma Bound 1-Idols

My personal favourite is, funnily enough, RUST. It is the most thematic, creative and amazing piece of art ever concieved.

Death moon is my pick for my most memorable level. It aged like fine wine, still looking really good to this day. The sync and scale of the level really makes it feel epic, especially near the end though it is incredibly easy.

You mentioning Belloq made me happy that level is so amazing

Belloq's theme is "thing with sand" *YOURE WELCOME*

So... Falling Up does tell a story, but I think that High Life/Low Death also tells a story (the transition from 1.9 to 2.0) and levels like Lonesome, Lonely Travel, Dark Travel, and The Lost Existence tell a story as well. I also think Necropolis, Acropolis, and El Dorado tell stories, and so do their sequels (NecropoliX, AcropoliX, The Golden).

We have VERY different taste, but I can respect your choices. I do admit Electrodynamix is a solid level though. One thing I have to say about falling up btw, the dual is VERY unfun to play imo

Electrodynamix and ToE 2 are my favorite RobTop levels because they have good music and music sync

I hadn't played Electrodynamix in forever and I've gotten much better at the game since. So when I saw that 3x speed ship section I was like wait is that a nerfed version? But no it's just easier than I remember it being.

I highly agree with what you said with Electrodynamix, it's the best.

I believe that illusion used black with blending so that some of the current could be invisible. This is also used in Vipin's part in supersonic and ultrasonic in the background

EDIT: Judging by the comments, I got SS and Belloq right, and the one I had no idea on was actually Electrodynamix. Huh. EDIT 2: Actually watched the video, and I was baited on Revolution. FUCK

Before I say something, I'll just let you know that I am not hating you. I just highly disagree about Electrodynamix being the "best". Yeah it's good looking and all, and I think that we all loved it when we first saw it. But is there anything special about it????? Its just player colors, and it wasn't executed that well imo. Geometrical Dominator is like Fingerdash, in where every update has a level that showcases all of the new things. Geometrical Dominator did a really good job at showing the capabilities of the 2.0 updates. With moving objects, Collectibles, and the iconic Rainbow effect (this is just my opinion btw)

personally my favourite level is either Xenomorphosis by Goose or Magma Bound by ScorchVX. and a shoutout for 1.9 is ROTD by Millepatte which I still love now

The best level that rob made(for me) is theory of everything 2 just like electrodynamix , it follows the player color

While Theory of Everything definitely isn't the best RobTop level, it certainly is my favorite one to play. I've always liked it because back when I sucked ass at the game I was able to beat it before a lot of the earlier levels like Time Machine and Cycles. (Also am I the only person who actually kinda liked X-Step?)
