My Favourite Upcoming MMO of 2023 | Throne and Liberty Director's Preview Reaction 

That there are many different types of content that don't directly interact with eachother and can be used freely together. For example: Fishing is a Profession that should have depth and progression paths of its own like Better Fish Rods, specific floats, upgraded boats etc. so people who only want to fish could just do that. BUT through people fishing the marketplace will see all kinds of fish, common through rare, super rare etc. So other people can use those materials to craft potions or food while never having to fish themselves and then using those things in their prefered content: dungeons, Pvp, maybe even other professions. So essentially that every piece of content can stand on its own while still providing towards a living, breathing world and economy. Oldschool Runescape does that really well.

Weapon-based system is best system that MMO can have, no more stupid alts just to play another class. Combat system is ok, I'm playing now BDO but the game I played most of time and was best overall was Aion.

Would you rather a gender lock class system or a class system that has constant "balance" issues each update/patch?

@@guuriki1 What is that question? ;D Balance issues will be always, doesn't matter if it's weapon based system or classes with/without gender lock. Question is how big will be difference between classes.

@@guuriki1 Unlocked gender and class system are not mutually exclusive. As for balance, the same can be said about weapon-based system, where some weapons will be way too stronger. E.g. some mage staffs or torches are usually OP in mass PvP etc.

You might be right nowadays but when WoW actually got popular it did have forced PvP (unless you played on PvE specific servers)

@@Neeko2lo Wow had faction specific PvP servers and those were a lot LESS than PvE servers. So I don't agree on this point as well.
