So I assume you’ll be moving to Seattle to live & train with the team there? I know I’m not the only one asking this, but what does that mean for all the guys & gal who are in your Boulder group? Particularly Ari, who while no offense to you Spencer, seems as fast/faster than you. Does he not wish to turn pro? Will any of those folks make the move to Seattle with you, or will they forge on in Boulder? I hope you’ll produce a video that covers all of this, since they have been an integral part of your channel as well. Good luck in your new adventure. Tell Danny Mackey hello from me. I’ve known him for a while. Cheers, Tim.
he hasnt made the team yet so im pretty sure he is going to train in boulder for the next year until brooks decides if he makes the team or not and then he will move to seattle
@Real boxing Fan1 lol why so hostile? I said average lol, obviously international top level athletes have more exposure. There's a bunch of pro athletes who most don't even know. AS had a relatively big following to similar athletes
@Real boxing Fan1 can you tell me what brooks pros have 80k??? Josh Kerr has 9k and none of the other Brooks Beasts even have 3k so I'm not really sure where you got your numbers there.
Dude is paving the way for athletes who are hopeful to turn pro. So dope that he gets a chance to follow his dream and prove himself. And props to Brooks for making it happen. Really showing other companies how it can be done. Get it done Spencer
This is awesome to see you progress on your journey and I can only imagine how you feel! Thank you for taking us along the ride with you and letting us live vicariously through you Spence! Time to get that beasts singlet!
Bro this is dope ! My name is Dylan Chism and i ran division 2 track at saint martins university in Lacey Washington and really found a love for not just sport but running. This past year I attempted to run cross country and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Mad respect bro for the pro contract and many blessing to you !!
8:37 Damn I'm 5'11" and weight 137lb and i tend to always get small. I feel like medium is way to baggy for me. But then again it depends on the design and the brand too i guess.
Dude love your vids I really want to start a running Chanel myself because I’ve done gaming on my Chanel but I run track and cross country so I think that I could make vids on that. I can’t wait till your mercy reatocks
Who else got stressed when he pulled the Hyperion elite v1 out the box like no Spencer that shoe suckssss then instantly relieved when he also got the V2 😂
Glad your getting the chance. You will do great but I wish that you had a coach. I guess after Brooks see what you can do it will want you to come to camp
F***ing eh right there bud! I’ve had the pleasure of working with brooks in the past. They’re a great company who values their athletes. Can’t wait to follow the journey now that you’re pro and chasing some $$$ on the track! PS. Spit the damn gum out son!
Hey Spencer, I’m a huge fan of your channel! Congrats on the partnership with brooks! I was wondering if you could send a pair of shoes my way? Thanks, keep putting out great content and getting faster!
No offense to Ari, but why would he? His best times are equal or worse than Spencer’s, and he doesn’t have the 50k+ followers. 3:39 level guys are a dime a dozen, but having the following and documenting the sponsorship is what puts Spence over the edge.
Rahn Lipp you’re right that 7:51 is super solid. Spencer’s 3:39 is worth about 7:50 (and 13:28). Ari’s got potential for sure. But he lacks the current marketability of Spencer. 3:39/7:51 guys don’t typically get signed. At least not with contracts or teams that are in any way lucrative.
