Also, key thing to remember orders normally are released on the hour. Sometimes you will refresh throughout the hour and might get an order, but normally at the hour is when the orders are released, so start refreshing on the hour.

I do Shipt 7 days a week and I can promise 99% of customers DO tip:-) Sometimes tips roll in days later and I’ve had them come in over a week later! I’ve done Doordash and instacart for years and totally stopped and I absolutely LOVE Shipt! They will tip you’ll see notifications even days later pop up

@@lilam9753 almost a year now…I still do DoorDash occasionally but Shipt 7 days a week 8-3:) Instacart turned into a waste of time after years of doing that through the pandemic.

Of my last 7 orders, only 2 have tipped so far and all of them I stayed in contact the whole time. Let them know about out of stock items with photos, asked if exp date was okay. Bagged well, arrive on time, even left a get well card for someone that ordered a bunch of cold items and nothing from mMos. Even the customers that were thanking me for communicating and checking dates nothing

The number one advice I can offer. Try to build your preferred shopper’s list of customers that way when you’re doing shipped if any of those customers put in an order, you will be able to see it before the open Metro.

Thank you for doing this video today. I will be doing shipped for the first time, I'm sure I'll be freaking out too like I did when I first did door dash. My 13-year-old granddaughter showed me how to do door dash for the first time and she went with me. This time. I'm on my own lol. Love your video thank you!

Oh yay Mary you’re on Shipt! How do you like it compared to DoorDash:your other apps? My suggestion would be to stop focusing on tips. You need to develop a system of how you’re going to the orders/provide the customer service and then tips will come. I feel lke when we as shoppers focus just solely on tips we just dnt get them. Tips are determined by area you’re in/how many shoppers are available and overall just ppls temperament. Some ppl just don’t tip for anything. And there’s nothing you can do about it. I would say focus on stacking your orders and doing promos to make your money. Tips need to be a bonus/extra. 😊 just my suggestions.

Shipt sucks - majority of the times customers don’t leave tips. I am doing Spark and Flex mostly / way better

Yes, you are supposed to have a receipt if the order is not prepaid

also they have plenty of shoppers, i have my schedule set for the entire south bay and I dont get offers. once you do 10 orders it will likely be dead. Good luck doing shipt I used to do it alot.

I did one order and never again. They don't tip not even after a month. I'm not wasting my gas,money and time for cheep customers.

Hi Maria, sometimes the tip will come a week later and you’ll get a notification from Shipt in the app that you got one (if not immediately after delivery). This happens a lot in my market so I just try and remember which ones do or don’t. Also a benefit is you can see the delivery address before accepting the order which can help identify the regular customers and who tips or not.

Tips come in a week later.... shipt is the bomb 💣💣💣🎉🎉🎉 some days u could average 40 an hour but u don't get the benefits till after every thing is done ....people are not mean like that most people tip it's just not like most apps..of the other apps

I don't understand the tips coming in that late. You think people would just tip after they get their order, not wait several days. I've only done 7 orders so far, only got 2 tips which were non prepaid ones. Haven't gotten any tips on the prepaid orders

You are all good!!! Promo orders unless you have an incentive. Promo orders at 10:50* am etc. Premium services.

Great video! Shoppers in the Shipt sub-reddit say that members sometimes don't tip until the next time they order. I've read that sometimes shoppers don't receive tips until weeks or months later.
