I was a bit concerned how the shape of the guitar would feel since it’s so unique, but it felt natural as soon as I played it

I find it more comfortable than traditional Explorer shapes. You really start to appreciate that upper arm contour.

Very nice review! I just received one a few days ago myself, and I have to agree with you. Extremely good quality instrument especially for the money. Initially I didn't know what to make of the Snakebyte shape, but it's grown on me so now I own one. I agree these are good to make your own, so I guess you could say I've become a Snakebyte enthusiast because I plan to own at least 1 more, the satin black. That one is a perfect blank slate to do custom painting on. Cheers.

Yeah it took awhile for the shape to grow on me when he first started using them. I want to try the Vulture, but I'm with you, a black satin Snakebyte is probably next for some custom work. Thanks for the support, and congrats on your new guitar!

Nice video! I also own the Snow White and love it. Can I ask how you recorded your demo here? Did you mic an amp? Or use an Amp simulator plugin? I'm a gear head, I just want to know how you got that great recording! 🍻

Thank you for the support, and as for you question, I used a Line 6 Helix connected to my PC through USB. I have IRs for all my patches, but they're all free IRs that you can get around the web. I don't use the stock cabinet simulators on the Helix.

Wish they would do a natural wood finish snakebyte, my guitar started to show hairline crack, and I am someone who is very carefull with my guitars.

That sucks, is it at the neck joint? Seems like guitar finishes like to crack there. Agree 100% on the natural finish, it would look so nice. That’s why I’ve been trying to find a Schecter E-1 Koa, it’s about as close as I’ll get to having a natural Snakebyte.

@@GhostDragon1182 yup there are hair like cracks on either side of the neck, then hair line cracks developed next to the bridge, then on the curve where the big upper horn curves into the guitar....I think I am going to put this guitar up for sale, the get the schecter e1 apocalypse with the metal scratch plate, or the Chapman ghostfret bad blood, and will get a Harley Benton ex84 mm modern because it's cheap and almost looks like hetfields og eet fuk explorer . Just really heart broken about the snakebyte

@@ILLRICARDO odd that it cracked that bad. I’ve had finish cracks around neck pockets due to flexing and stuff, but not around the bridge and other body parts. The Schecter E-1 is a fantastic guitar, the apocalypse you’re talking about looks sick and is on my list down the road. I have the black fade with the Fishman’s, one of the best guitars I ever owned. Only downside I can say is they don’t come with cases. The HB EXs look cool, but I’m a big dude so the smaller body looks kinda silly when I play them.
