Ridley decided to make it a memorable one with this ridiculous floor stuck with 0 HP!! I didn't even know that was possible! I knew about floor stuck, but I'm a little fuzzy about the rules for Ridley pogoing while dead.
I need to get better at counting shots after ridley turns red. In addition to 10+10 ammo, I need 22 shots (with PB damage it could be 21 shots but I didn't go for that). I thought I was still about five shots short, when actually looking at the footage I think I put in 23 shots after red. I did think Ridley might be dead from the way he was acting, but then he went into a pogo so I figured he was not dead... and then he did that floor stuck. I've gotten one or two floor stucks in practice and I've had Ridley hit me upon laying the PB so I was definitely worried about that happening, and then of course Ridley can kill you with the tail while going for the pickup after, but none of that happened and my first official kill with the original game was secured.
