Take the Carrack - load C8 or some fury's or Both and Spare kit - just in case you die - land outside the cave with the carrack and use the Snub ship to Explore - Scanners on the snub ships will see the various Mineable Minerals without being on top of them - to save on time - if there Minerals that are out of reach of the snub Use Drop Lights at each junction you encounter once out of sight of your ship to find your way back when you are done - if you die or get incapacitated you just respawn on the Carrack and re enter the cave system with another Snub - Taking Friends Along makes it more fun - The Fury fighter platform is ideal for quick scouting the Tunnel system and the C8 can be used to Transport other members in and out of the Cave.
Never underestimate how useful the pisces medical is. So useful taking crates down into the mines with it and set up a storage point for your group of miners
Unrelated note but I actually love how they do Prison in Star Citizen. You can just wait it out, work to lower your sentence or make a daring escape that actually feels like a proper escape and not "use Lockpick on Backdoor BAM Freedom"
I always set respawn point inside the ship when I'm worried I can't make it back on board. Makes things much easier. Especially if you have a spare multi-tool inside to take your corpse back on it.
Just a strong reminder to always make sure that the ship ramp is touching the ground before you leave the ship. The only reason you made it back on that Carrack, is because the moon has a lower gravity.
You can grab ledge on rocks that have that yellow edge. No need to take off armor or use any boxes. Some caves have issues as grab need to be in right angle, so you just need to find right spot and jump right angle to get up.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX earn the creds and buy one in game. Then you can just park your Carrack outside and move it with it. Ain't that expensive But it was a great video. Nice adventure. Hope to see more soon. Maybe see you around in the verse. o7
@@Bland-79 fortunately, he can still buy that Pisces just like he could buy the Carrack. It just won't be as childishly easy... sorry, i mean, as "it's just a game bro" easy as it was before.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX I think the other guy meant to say, incarrackly, also when the Polaris comes out, do u plan on getting it? Or upgrading the Corrack to it?
The attributes of how easily the rock heats up, how big its green zone is etc all depends on its composition. Also, you can attach small tools to your undersuit.
Cool cave exploration I can take you to make money easy by reclaimer and it is salvaging so if you want to this weekend I can make you millions and we can even play with some dirt bikes on daymar!!! Thought it would be cool
It would have been a pretty sketchy manouver, but I think you could have even landed the Carrack at the bottom of the cave if you had tried to slowly raise the nose and bring it back to a horizontal position. The cave gets much larger at the bottom after the entrance section.
Jump while pressing w towards the yellow line on the edge of the cliffs. the yellow lines are vaulting points. also make sure your hands are empty. and yes you can jump further the lighter the armor.
if you look at the yellow paint on those walls instead of up, hold shift, W and press spacebar you mantle up those, thats why theyre coloured yellow like that. you essentially threw away all the gear for nothing
@24:15 that yellow ledge is a hint that you can mantle it. You figured it out later though. :) Mantling in this patch is a little sketchy though... You should just be able to face it and move straight; no jump
Damn this was a tense adventure... 😆 By the way I adore the cyberpunk music. What game is it from? The Ascent? Animals coming with 3.23, though I am not sure any of them will reside in caves.
The Kopion ( 4 legged predator) do reside in caves, though only on Microtech and Hurston right now I think (in 3.23 EPTU). They would fit well in this cave for sure.
Instead of trying to mine and knock off the klescher timer, you can go down to lvl 9 and get the ruto mission "want out?".. You have to break out of prison.. That mission clesrs all your CS and gives you a cutty black
Hadanite is always slower to mine since its the more expensive of the three, But there is a forth minable so rare i have never seen it spawn yet. I have seen videos of it and it looks really hard to mine.
Dude, those yellow edges mean you can grab on and climb them… you just have to hold shift when you jump. You didn’t have to do all that work removing your armor to use it as a box.
Next time you’re in prison, don’t mine. Go down past level 8, walk up and either punch out npcs or use ya the middle mouse to take down, loot their packs and rinse repeat. As long as you are below level 8 you’re not gong to get additional time added.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX No I mean you could have gotten out of your Carrack and if you couldn't have got back in you could hit DEL and your character would respawn in the Carrack med bed.
There were lots of stuff you didn't mine and you still had oxygen left right? Should there ever be critters in there, i would expect ressource prices to go up ^^
Yea I was running out of water and I was feeling claustrophobic after being stuck for like 40 mins haha. The power of Editing shrunk that time down a lot haha 😆
@@DIGITALSANDBOX someone has to accept the bounty mission on you. Hide down there with a rail gun, just hope an A2 doesn't drop a bomb but that's always a good way to go out.)
You should be able to get rid of a 12-hour sentence in 30m-1h of mining and/or maintenance work. Though maintenance jobs are contested now and the deeper levels are outside of armistice so someone might shiv you.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX No. Thrusters are for maneuvering in zero g not holding a 4.5k ton spaceship in perfect holding position planet side, even if that planet is low g. It is a fundamental flaw in the game which they said they will be fixing later the the development. Thrusters have always been overpowered, even in zero g. It will be fixed eventually.
@@DIGITALSANDBOX I imagion if there was something like you can take a generator with you, standing lights, and you can set them around your ship that woudl be a amazing innovation for cave diving, but I also think Chemlights would be even better
Hand mining is kind of like trying to become a millionaire by finding pennies on the ground. Glad you had fun though. There are legal missions where you have to go kill bad guys in caves. They pay out like 50k or more. Those are even more intense.
