Sis don’t be afraid of haircuts that’s how your hair grows! Damage at the end of your hair travels upwards causing breakage. Your hair will never grow if you don’t get rid of the damaged ends. The most important thing for hair growth is keeping your scalp moisturized, clean and maintaining your ends (you maintain your ends by putting sealing products on healthy ends) no product can repair your damaged ends , they just maintain. She used Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic gel as a base. The gel is considered a botanical gel because it mainly has Aloe Vera. She then topped it with Trepadora Papaya slip...You have to order this product comes from the UK. And, Design Essential Curl Enhancing Mousse was the other topper. So you had a gel and two toppers applied to your hair.

@Merryment TV in order to keep length, you MUST get trims. Split ends will continue up the hair shaft until you'll have to cut it all off...

I'm a new natural and I haaaate the idea of a "wash & go" that requires way too much product & gel after thoroughly cleaning & conditioning the hair. So this was really refreshing to see! I wish I could get that foam product for my 4C curl definition, doesn't seem available in my area :-(

I'm so happy to see her finger detangling. I had a stylist comb my hair before, during and after shampooing... girl, I though I was going to have 10 strands left. So glad, I know better now.

My hair stylist also used these same products in the salon. I’ve learned a lot from her. Apparently those products are salon staples and my wash n go also came out nice.

Trims are essentially. You will not retain length if you don’t cut the ratchet ends. Health over length.

Uncle funky Curly Magic is a gel dear not foam. She used both on your head. That curly magic makes 4b/4c hair pop like crazy thats what I use !

Love it! I would also like to see you do braid and twist outs. I hear you about the no cutting. You are taking good care of your hair. Let it grow to a length you are comfortable with getting a trim. It takes time for our hair to show length and too many trims and cuts will impede your progress. I believe you will know when it needs to be trimmed and you can research ways to carefully trim yourself or return to visit your stylist with pictures of a style you want.

I do my own natural hair I've been natural now going on maybe 3 years I can wash my hair in my sleep I don't like washing my hair because I have a technique I picked the right products eye condition oil do everything myself at my leisure time while I'm sitting down watching TV while I'm cooking I couldn't condition I wash my hair I deep condition it and it's important for you to learn how to do your own hair just in case you can get to the beauty salon it's your hair it's beautiful when you learn how to do your own hair how to manage it you feel great range of control for your hair an accomplishment very important

Once you get the technique and the products I spend less than $60 every 6 months to get new products oils to make my products getting my products together to wash my hair is a dream because I I figure out everything that I need the day before I put it on my tray I put it in my bathroom and I begin to do my hair I do my pre conditioning with oils and wrap it in a plastic bag or plastic cap and I leave it on for an hour so then I go to the washing my shampoo is there everything is DMI vinegar whatever I'm using for my treatments then so learn how to do your own hair I mean I'm not saying don't go to the cosmetologist for your trim or whatever you need but learn how to do your own hair in case you're in a crunch I know many young ladies and old women that don't know how to begin to do the here I take great pleasure is like going to the movies with me or going to buy a dress and the whole process and I do it about every 10-14 days but I boil and comb my hair on a daily basis and I finger comb I don't use comb or brush and then I massage my scalp oh that helps Grove so it helps growth 100% you I could see the growth so take care of it and learn your hair learn your beautiful hair and that's how I feel my hair is beautiful and I keep a tame and controls I don't have it all over my head I don't care for wash and go go for my hair because it gets out of control and it gets Tangled

I don't use gel or foam for a wash n go. I actually use a defining creme in my hair....my hair get curly easy. So I don't need heavy products to get my curls popping.

Don't you ladies feel any shame to walk in there with your hair looking like are you banging this is New York this isn't Africa in the woods you should know how to take care of your hair you should learn from example I take care of my hair I do blow dry my hair on cool so that I can manage it and I wash it with a slippery shampoo and conditioner I make my own flaxseed oil I don't understand you ladies I cry for you
