I had fun watching this video, I’ve played the game for years and watching someone play it for the first time was entertaining. If you turn on extra hud you can see your stats and Items you’ve picked up. I hope to see more
- You can press q to use pills and cards - Blow up tainted rocks (rocks with the x mark) for rewards - Room with a spikes on the minimap is called sacrifice room and when you get hurt with the spikes in the center you can get pickups and items, just don't use it too much because you get teleported to the dark room - Black hearts deals dmg when depleted - Challenge Rooms are special rooms that allow Isaac to fight enemies for extra rewards - Don't use too many bombs for normal enemies, they are much useful to search for secret rooms and super secret rooms - Sharp key (space bar item) uses your keys as ammunition
Basically when it tells you something appeared in the basement you unlocked a new item, when you donate to the guy with the white spikey hair he gives you charges on the active item you have like the book or the spider sack that you had earlier, the rooms that hurt you are called cursed rooms and sometimes they can hold items, chests, black hearts, or nothing but a couple of enemies, the pills that you can pickup can either have positive effects like stat ups or negative effects like stat downs, cards like 2 of a certain shape can double items like keys, bombs, or red heart health, cards are very helpful and once you learn what most of them do that'll become more apparent overtime. Good job on your first playthrough man you actually got really far, once you kill mother you'll unlock more floors and continue after her fight as well, loved the video too it was really entertaining to watch 😄
