@@jimballard1186 exactly. Everything that is upsetting to the abuser becomes an excuse to abuse, and the ramifications of it down the line of recovery is exhausting. Like learning to read people again and not go into hyperawareness when people are upset or keep saying sorry for being perceived as an annoyance or inconvenience. It really makes the Golden rule of treating others how you want to be treated stand out

yes, thank you!!! you have to treat the controlling person with respect and speak on your own behalf instead of the behalf of the person being abused. it's easy to want to try and "rescue" a victim from their abuser but this almost always fails because the person is stuck in that relationship for a reason. being a non-combative, openly supportive confidant for the victim until they find the power to stand up for themselves is always a much safer and less intrusive option rather than trying to get yourself involved in the relationship to fight their own battles on their behalf, as someone who has a little experience with this. i really appreciate this comment.

The ship of husk and angel is awesome

Perhaps it's just because I'm asexual, but I like the idea of them being friends much better. I'm okay with whatever direction the series takes them, but I feel that apart from Blitzo and Fizzy, the Helluvaverse is really lacking in platonic relationships.

@@arktya I don't think it's just because you're ace, I'm very much not asexual but I still like the idea of them being friends. As you said, there's a lack of platonic relationships in Helluva Boss/Hazbin. Relationships are great (and I get how shipping could be fun), but people don't give the power of a close friendship enough credit. To me Husker and Angel just don't give off couple vibes. That could be because of Keith David's voice (Keith is 67 years old, which is WAY older than Blake Roman) creating a vibe of Husker being way older than Angel (though ironically I think it's the other way around), or it could just be a lack of perceived chemistry on my end. Either way, all I get is good friend vibes and I've personally enjoyed it from that perspective.

​@@kenjutsukata1o1 I kinda agree, tho I think there are a decent few platonic relationships as well. Cherry & Angel, Mimzy & Alastor, Em & Chalie(which hopefully we'll get more of in the new 2 eps + s2), and Charlie & Angel are some. Personally I think Husk & Angel would be really cute on top of a nice plot point for showing Angel learning to be in a romantic relationship where he's valued. I think it'd be a really cute & nice direction for his story.

I dont think you should not determine if u ship something or not based on the age they died in (if they are both adults, angel was round about 35 when he died). In hell u still kinda live on and gain more experience as the years go on. The thing is Angel is over 20 years in hell longer than Husk too so they should be mentally be the same age either way. They should be both over 100 years old at that point.

I'm not sure the 'blowing air through their mouthparts' bit was necessary, since that's how I and pretty much every other creature capable of squeaking does it as well 😛

@@kenjutsukata1o1 maybe so, but moths, and insects in general, are actually some of the few animals that don't normally do that, they instead breathe through holes in the sides of their bodies called spiracles.

You say that but 90% of people skip within 5 seconds of the reaction being paused which hurts the videos performance so I have to speak during. I’d rather pause but it’s all due to audience habits 👍
