me encanta ver cómo la sección de comentarios se llena de gente hablando español, creo que no nos habíamos fijado en la cantidad de gente hispanohablante que hay en este canal y me hace muy feliz verlo. ánimo jade!!!💖💖
Hey Jade! I’m from Spain and I’m sooo happy that u decided to learn Spanish! I know sometimes it’s hard to begin with a new language, mostly if ur not feeling very motivated, but I hope you start enjoying it once you start learning it! Wishing u the best 💕💕
Hi jade!! I have been following you since high school (your solo travel vids were the first ones i watched) and have truly grown with you, but have never commented anything🥺 Im a mexican youtuber, and you were my inspiration to study abroad in greece for a semester🥰🥰 (truly the best decision I’ve made!) If you need any tips for your spanish, let me know! haha You have a great pronunciation, probably because of all of the languages that you know✨ a tip to sound like a native is to remember that the vowels have only 1 sound☝️ In english we pronounce “O” as “Ou” or A as “Ae”, and in spanish it’s only a short sound, like O😮 sound or A😀 (idk if the emojis help haha)
Hi Jade!! I'm so happy for you!! I gotta say, I'm Peruvian and living in Argentina now so my Spanish is different from the one spoken here, and I don't really have problems understanding or being understood, so don't stress TOO much about the differences. We appreciate when foreigners learn our language! Good luck❤️
Hi Jade! An Argentine here. Before coming you should probably google some lunfardo words (and Argentinian slang) because we use them all the time. And it’s also interesting to read about how lunfardo was created. I hope you have a wonderful time in Buenos Aires!
this is to let you know that you have a big impact on my life- learning/studying part. You have let me see studying with an totally different prospective. I was not a good student in school ( didn't care then) I'm now struggling to get into a good college but I can promise you that I will try my best in college ( whenever i get into any). But for that I need you to keep up with that work you are doing! 🌞❤️ hope that made sense. I'M GALD THAT FEW DAYS AGO RU-vid RECOMMENDED ME ON OF YOUR VIDEOS
Estoy muy feliz saber que vayas a aprender español ! Es un idioma que estudio desde 6-7 años, pero más frecuentemente desde 3 años. Soy francesa, bilingüe en inglés, y te doy mucha suerte en tus futuros aprendizajes
Living in Argentina with high basic Spanish and it has been wonderful to learn the different dialects and slang words😄 Learned originally in Peru. You will have an amazing time!!
Hola Jade! I'm from Argentina and it makes me so happy to know that you're learning Spanish and coming to my country! I genuinely think you're gonna love Argentina ❤️ Also, when you're here, you should totally visit the Ateneo Grand Splendid, it's one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world and it's in Buenos Aires!
Not gonna lie, when I saw the Argentinian flag I immediately clicked on the video. Im Argentinian myself, and to be honest… it’s really difficult to learn it but with time you can do it💕 You’re doing soo good Jade!! Spanish it’s a beautiful language Though in argentina we don’t use a lot of formal language
Spanish is literally one of easiest languages on the planet to learn hon. English is more difficult than Spanish and both are incomparable to something like Mandarin (that is for Europeans at least)
Awesome that you end up getting super motivated to learn Spanish. oh, just a reminder, as you progress more and more in Spanish you'll also be able to understand some words in Italian and Portuguese, it will blow your mind.
Perfect timing! i was just thinking I should learn Spanish. thankyou for the wonderful resources! 7:50 "i actually already knew playa was beach so... I'm just a step ahead of everyone. what can i say?" i LOVE your sense of humour jade! i love your videos! i know you're in university & have come really far from A levels but you still continue to inspire me and my class (going into year 13 soon) and something i found particularly helpful from your videos was the one about glycolysis using the diagram. i used the technique to remember atherosclerosis and blood clotting! but i find it really hard to come up with diagrams (i keep adding steps for every single detail). could you do a video on more things you learned using this technique and how you came up with it (your thought process) it would be really helpful!❤ watching your videos always puts me in a good mood. i hope i can meet you someday!
Hiii Jade! I'm from Argentina and I think you're doing great with spanish already. Your pronunciation of the "r" sound is right on spot 😄😄 I'd recommend you to look up some videos or something about typical words or phrases used specifically in Argentina because we used them a lot. Sending you love and good luck! 💗
Omg you’re doing so well Jade! I’m half British half Bolivian student in Argentina! I’m also 22! It’s so beautiful hereee💖 also don’t worry about the different types of Spanish!
so excited for you and so excited for this next batch of videos! my mother is a native Spanish speaker, but my Spanish is ROUGH and I'd love to be closer to my heritage. I'm low-key gonna be studying your process lol. what motivates me rn is listening to latin music and Spanish TV shows bc they're elite.
omg i've been waiting for you to come to argentina since you announced your minerva journey!! can't wait for you to be here and recommend you the best places in buenos airesss
hi Jade, i'm so inspired by you learning languages, now its your time to learn spanish and i'm so excited!!! I'm from Spain, and well i personally think that spanish is difficult but not impossible!!! with this language you can improve a lot more, meet more people, and i think that is so beutiful and romantic as well. I send you all the good luck
I have been studying Spanish at school for the past four years and I love it! Once you are at a good enough level you need to watch Las chicas del cable, this series has motivated me soo much!
Hello there! I am from Argentina! So feel free to ask me any questions about the language! So glad that you decided to study argentinian spanish💙 Lots of love
I love the fact that you’re showing us how difficult it is to start learning a language from scratch, but also how fulfilling it is when you finally see results!! You’re a source of inspiration Jade!!!❣️
Oh my god Jade! It's such a delight watching you! Your energy spreads. Looking at you smile makes me smile! I bought your book and it's probably the most useful book I've ever read. Thank you so much Jade! Look up to you every day!🦋✨
OMG the vamos a la playa anecdote !!!! I live in France and back when I was in Fourth Grade there was a month during the year where, rather inexplicably, everybody was singing this song - and I mean EVERYBODY. That's so funny I never realized this was a cross-European cross-schoolchildren movement haha
I learned Spanish 2 years ago) Then I travelled several times to different parts of Spain and that was amazing. I love spanish people and culture. Yo te quero Jade) Mucho feliz para ti.
I learnt Spanish in my first semester of uni (2022). I found the hardest part was all the conjugations as there are a lot as well as vocab to remember. It's a great language!
You can do it girl, te deseo mucha suerte!!!!! I'm from Mexico and I don't know why, but I'm excited to see you learning my language, I love your accent when you speak Spanish
Tip from an Argentinian right here: in Buenos Aires go to “El bochín”. Excelent restaurant in Palermo. It’s pretty good value for money. Has a lot of typical food. Also if you go to a local cafeteria ask for a “submarino” which is hot milk with a melted bar of unsweetened chocolate. Also eat ice cream and chocolate from Rapanui. And please please visit San Telmo!
What an amazing way to wake up !!! I’ve been waiting for your next Lingoda video so get that coupon because I am also wanting to learn Spanish and I just graduated and got my first adult job so I have the money for it now haha thank you jade xx
hey, Jade! I wish you luck and motivation in your studies, Spanish is a very beautiful language! a tip that helps a lot to become familiar with the language is to watch movies and series in Spanish, notice the meanings, repeat the pronunciation... looking forward to seeing more of this journey hugs
The cursing words LMAOOO YES. As a Spanish speaker this is literally the most exciting part of my language, and seeing the person I follow the most speaking my language :DD aaaaaaah!!! You're already doing an amazing job Jade, I admire your perseverance smmm ❤and if you know French already, for sure it's gonna be easier as they're veery very similar languages (except for the pronunciation), soO gO jaDe gO JadE! 👯
hiiii!! im Argentinian and I’ve lived in Buenos Aires my whole life. I’ve been following you for the longest time! I wish you the best of luck in this new adventure! 💓🫶🏼
Hi Jade!! I'm doing a Spanish lingoda sprint as well!! I'm doing the super sprint so I have had a class everyday for more than two weeks and it's a lot 🤤 but I really am enjoying it and I'm determined to win the sprint!😂 Maybe I'll see you in a class haha❤️
JADEEE omg this video made me so happy! You will LOVE South America I just know it! I'm from Uruguay and I'd love to meet up if you decide to come here while you are in Argentina. There are sooo many beautiful places to go to xx
You're such an inspiration. I'm always looking up your old A Levels Videos 😂😂 and watching them without even a short skip. Your videos are so motivating. And with time, I've really realised the Importance of Revisions 😂😂🤌. Love your videos so much, just love your accent, love the way your videos look, love the way you speak !!!!!! Everything 😭
If you're coming to Argentina, I recommend watching Los simuladores, it's an amazing TV show that is very porteño (people from Buenos Aires' city), it's available on RU-vid and there's even a version with English subtitles I think.
hey jade! i do french and beginners spanish at uni (just ending first year) and that initial fear is so real! i knew nothing going into it either, but that means you can make progress so quickly which is fun, and spanish culture is really interesting :) it’s great that you have a native teacher as your listening will improve sooo much quicker than it did in school for gcse languages! good luck with the rest of your course :)
I would absolutely love if this became a series, I love the Spanish language and I have learnt it for a while now. I wish you all the best learning Spanish & Enjoy Argentina of course!
Holaa Jade! Good luck learning español! I'm peruvian and I discovered your channel because I wanted to improve my english, you have inspired me so much through your videos❤️ You are a wonderful person 🧚♀️ I hope you enjoy your time in Argentina! Best wishes ✨
He estado estudiando español desde la escuela primaria así que verte empezar a aprender es tan emocionanteeee wishing you all the best on your journey and let's hope i make progress in german wOO
hi jade, so nice to see you doing a video about this! i'm brazilian and portuguese has quite a lot of similarities to spanish. that's definitely a language i want to learn but i somehow always find myself lacking motivation to do it. it's been a bit of a struggle everytime i've been to buenos aires, but at the same time, argentinians are very nice and helpful people, so i wouldn't worry much about having a basic level of spanish as soon as you get there!
Hi Jade! I had no idea the amount of Spanish speaking followers you had! I thought I was the only one from Peru bt I was wrong haha I wish you the very best in Argentina and hope you can learn a lot of Spanish :) because I wished your content could be translate to Spanish to reach way more people
I'm also currently learning Spanish because I would love to travel in Latin America, but sometimes it's hard to get motivated (as I'm learning other languages at the same time) so thank you for this motivating and inspirational video!
Don't worry Jade you're not the only one that knows that song off by heart, it was even a thing in french schools! Such a summer vibe :) Love your vids you're amazing x
Me encanta esto!! Hope you have fun learning Spanish. I'm from Paraguay, a country next to Argentina. Espero que disfrutes tu tiempo allí! love love love :)
so happy you're coming to argentina!! ❤ suerte aprendiendo español, vas a ver que cuando vengas a buenos aires te va a venir re bien saber al menos lo basico!
I mean, if you speak French, Spanish won’t be too hard. Since they both come from Latin they share a lot of grammar in common. As an spanish speaker who is learning French, sometimes I mix words since they are similar or many words are written almost the same but pronounced completely different. Good luck!
HOLA JADE! soy de argentina y la verdad que puedo decirte que vas re bien. La mejor manera de aprender un idioma es siempre escuchando al otro y practicando pero por interés propio. Abrazo
Hi Jade, I do yoga every day and was so so happy to discover your channel!! 🧘♀️❤️I was wondering what your favourite yoga videos/practices are? I really love Adriene's videos but thought you might have some other recommendations:)
I'm mexican but I used to watch Floricienta when I was younger. Its an argentinian show mostly for teenagers but honestly I still enjoy it hahah if you want to get used to the accent. Im pretty sure you can find the episodes on YT
Hace cinco años que aprendo español y el internet es tu mejor amigo jaja. En serio, hay muchas cosas para ayudarte con gramática, vocabulario, o cualquier cosa que te dé problemas. ¡Buena suerte!
I generally don't have the motivation to invest time into learning another language anymore because forgetting everything is soo easy and I wouldn't use it for anything other than travelling, and tbh you usually get by with English. However, for some reason I love seeing other people learn them and I still totally get why it can be appealing! I began learning Spanish a couple of years ago for fun, did an intensive course at uni in spring break, that was fun and the teacher was from Latin America as well :) Hope you find your motivation and have fun!
Yay, so great que estés aprendiendo español:) = so great that you are learning Spanish:) Deseándote todo lo mejor Jade = Wishing you all the best Jade! x from Uruguay:)
Amazing Jade! I'm from Argentina and living in Berlin, so if you're ever wanting to practice some spanish, I'd be glad to share some Brammibal's donuts and have a chat.
I've been learning Spanish since 12 years old, it's a wonderful language 🥰. Recently, I've started learning German since it's quite useful in Europe and I love it. It's quite complicarte though 😅. My mother tongue is Czech btw. Wish you a lot of success and enjoyment during learning Spanish. I bet you'll acquire the typical Argentinian pronounciation 😁😁.
omg you're coming to argentina 😱 i look forward to watch you discover the city (i suppose you're staying in CABA) some tips: we dont really say "hasta luego" we say "chau, nos vemos" (bye, see you later) even if we arent really going to.
Omgg I'm from Argentina and as someone who was once in your position (but in my case i had to learn french from scratch) it's so exciting to see someone learning your own language! I know it can be overwhealming at first but you'll get it ;) (plus if you know a "romantic language" already, it's easier since you already have a notion of the different genders, verb times, etc that exist). Also a lot of people will understand you if you talk to them in english or sign/sound language hahah. Hope you have a great time here and learn lots of spanish🤍✨️ (Ps: if you have any questions about the country or anything feel free to ask!)😊
