Plus most natural marbles are white so its more fitting than cracker, also the cats very tiny and the head is round cuz the ears are folded so its very fitting to name that cat marbles like it was born for that name

One of my cats passed away a few months ago and she looked JUST LIKE THIS KITTY. This made me cry happy tears. I miss her so much and I can't wait to see this kitty grow up.
I'm so sorry for your loss.. it's also happen to me 7 years ago when our 14yo cat died due to cancer, and he's white too.. now, I think this kitty is a reincarnation..

I like marbles because then you can walk around saying "where's my marbles, I've lost my marbles" but also because Ders is Ludwig Jr. it would be cute to have a KittyCinderella. Choosing a name is just too much pressure
Yeah it is a lot of pressure. For our new dog what we did is come up with a list of names and just calls on our dog randomly and see if when she'll look back at us. We ended up naming her Tiger
ludwig is the dad who strongly refused when asked by his kid about owning a cat/dog but immediately in love with the cat/dog after having them and would kill entire lobby if something happened to the cat/dog 😂
it's very sad.. I watch a few korean channels that have scottish folds and they always bring them to the vet. they do bring awareness to those who may want a scottish fold
@@PaintedPapaya Yeah honestly as soon as I saw the ears my heart sunk. PSA for people who want a Scottish fold: They are condemned to a lifetime of agony from birth, because their "aesthetic breed feature" is actually degenerative disease that gives them horribly weak cartilage, which isn't limited to the ears. Her joints are gonna be grinding bone against bone in just a few short years, and chronic lethargy will set in as the only means for her to not be in unbearable pain.
I highly encourage anyone who thinks this cat is cute to look up how messed up the breed is. A 100% of cats born with folded ears are sick. Breeding them is basically abuse. I don’t blame the owners I blame the breeders. I wish people were more aware of the issues with Scottish Folds.
I blame the owners who *know* that Scottish folds live in constant pain and buys one anyway because "aesthetics" Adopt don't shop, don't support cat breeders
@@Oayah That is messed up too, you're right. But a lot of people don't know, and don't do their research before buying which is stupid. Breeders should be held responsible for creating sick animals and honestly breeding intentionally sick individuals should be made illegal...
i was litreally going to buy this same breed after seeing coots but after research decided not to. i hope ludwig or whoever got him the cat found the most highest level breeders possible to minimize a potential life of misery arthritic pain..its so sad.

Hands down my favorite thing this stream was Lud taking the time making a whole cat area to have cat cam and kitten said “nah bro, I’m hanging with you”
It's in constant agony due to the genes that cause its folded ears, she will be in pain for her entire life in her joints and she will have a lot of health problems stemming from the pain
I'm glad the cat is named Marbles now. I think it is very fitting with their white coat and rounded ears. So cute. Update: he won some games against QT for the right to name the kitten. He decided on the name Coots. 😻
To be honest the truth is that it's in pain from the genes that cause its folded ears, it also causes joint pain. These cats live in constant misery because of it. Every single one of these cats suffer from some degree of joint pain, and it limits their ability to run around, play, and enjoy their lives like a normal kitten should

Scottish folds are very cute cats but they are also cruelly bred because of this. They are basically bred to have a genetic disorder that makes their joints and cartilages messed up and weak. That's why they have those cute floppy ears. Not only are their ear cartilage weak but their joints in the limbs will also be in pain as they grow older.
@@Bibblesupremacy1992 The adorable Lulu cat from the youtube channel "Claire Luvcat" is a mix of british short hair, munchkin and scottish fold. Now it suffers from forelimb pain in the joints and has to take laser therapy daily to reduce the pain.
@@Bibblesupremacy1992 EVERY cat that has the floppy ear, will also have the cartilage problems. The floppy ears are that way because of a change in the cartilage, and it is changed in the whole body. Sadly, there can't exist a cat with floppy ears but without the joint problems

It's called osteochondrodysplasia, munchkins & scottish folds have some form of it. The gene in scottish folds is dominant, so all cats bred with one fold parent have a high risk of developing it. The sooner and more apparent the fold in the ear appears on the cat the more likely they will develop Osteoarthritis earlier in life. European countries have already started banning the breeding of these cats, since this has been researched and proven in multiple studies as early as 1974.

Don't buy Scottish folds they live in constant agony due to the genes that cause their folded ears. They all live with some degree of joint pain, some so severe that the poor thing can't run around and play without it causing horrible pain
The best part about this stream was that Ludwig genuinely let it go up to like best of 7 and cracker was the underdog but kept winning each time he said “coots wins this and you guys won’t be able to say anything about it”
Hey Ludwig, I hope you know that this breed is considered very unhealthy and a lot of Scottish Folds suffer immensely from deformed bones starting at a young age. Please get x-rays done regularly to check for that, and also talk to your community about it, as making this breed even more popular will just lead to more cats being born into a life of pain. I know they are very cute, but sometimes humans take breeding too far.
Thanks for bringing this up. For years I was considering getting a Scottish Straight (bc of their personality) to avoid the health issues, but even giving money to the unethical breeding doesn't feel right. It's just not fair to make animals suffer for cuteness.

Appreciate you sharing this. I wanted to get a cat for myself out of cuteness but now I am considering 1. Their health situation and 2. Their personality cause boy o boy I want a sweet cat and not a bitchy one haha
@@hiryuimajin adopt! And more importantly adopt an adult cat not a kitten, adult cats will already have set personalities and behaviours whereas a kittens can change drastically through their development
She's already taking it over lol. During last night's stream, everytime Lud had to hide catcam so he could put other things on screen, chat would immediately riot. We even got him to make the cat's screen bigger than his own during the reaction segment of stream. If Ludwig isn't careful, Coots is gonna steal his channel from him 🤣
I actually like the name Marble for the cat. Marbles was the introduction stream for the cat, and the cat is white like the material marble. Actually a goated name.
