For those of you wondering, yes, I really am TimTom’s Mom! We were so lucky to have Grandma Emma. Unfortunately she has passed, but we were blessed to have her in our lives, and I’m happy that Tim was able to share her with all of you. ❤️

Your "dad" being a jerk to you sounds awful but at least you got to go back to your grandmother afterwards, she sounds like a wonderful person and welcomed you with open arms it also shows that family doesn't always have to be blood related

I had a similar grandma when I was a kid. I loved her more than anything, but she had to leave to be cared for by her own family and I was distraught. I never got to see her again. Hopefully one day I can go see her grave.

It didn't hurt too much until the veiwing, but when I consciously found that she couldn't say hi, or give us a hug, I got a sad feeling in my gut. Timtoooooom We love you man. Someone close to me had a similar step dad. It lasted for 10 years before they could finally move out. Constant screaming, throwing things, etc etc. I'm glad your mom got outta there relatively quickly.

I'm currently 15 years old freshman in high school I have never met any of my grandfathers. But about five years ago older guy around late 60s moved in behind our house he was in the military for a while but then he ended up retiring from the military and he moved down here and he's the closest thing I've had to a grandfather half the time I just want to I just want to run up to him and hug him how it sounds stupid as hell but he's like my grandfather like Grandma Emma was to you.
