Hello, Kabhi kabhi karvate hai but mostly it’s about self practise when online (in most classes it’s like that). Yes notes likhwate hai (the whole ppt is provided, you can copy that as is or use your own words…Sir won’t dictate notes, again yeh kisi class main nahi hai because it’s not like the rituon structure)

Hello, Both are very good…Manish Ramuka gives you a language advantage…Sometimes when things get difficult he uses Hinglish and that kind of makes things more relatable and easy. Otherwise both are brilliant, you can do a demo with both and see where you are more comfortable (that’s the most important thing)

Hello Aryan, I would say you shortlist 2-3 teachers and take a demo lecture from each one (of you can take 2 even better). The most important point is you need to be comfortable with their teaching style, method and approach. I had a case where my entire group loved one teacher and I literally left his class cuz I couldn’t connect. So only go by your experience and nobody else is. The point about Sanjay Sir is what I have heard too so again you need to see are you a person who is comfortable with that or would prefer a slightly to the point approach. The main goal is you can connect with the teaching style and are able to immediately understand the concepts when taught by them.

Hello, It won’t be fair for me to suggest a drop out for any because that has to be your decision to take. Having said that I do agree that doing all together will be very hectic both on your health and pocket. So I would suggest analyse what exactly you want to do at least as of now what are your goals and stick to that. In case in the future you want to add anything it’s fine…But don’t just pile up degrees for no reason. Have a reason to do it.

In India the value of CA is more than that of CFA . I am to an CA inter student but I dropped it as it is taking more time to clear so I switched it to CFA

Hello, Don’t worry about the feeling that she cant retain the concepts…it’s natural to feel like that as e proceed from one reading to another. What would be alarming is not understanding the concept while learning and in that case there has to be some changes made. If she feels she’s not comfortable with Mark Meldrum’s style then I definitely recommend switching hands asap. Manish Ramuka Sir is great but again she has to like his teaching style so I would say shortlist at least 2 teachers and take a demo from each one before finalising. The moment she is able to understand topics in class her life would be much simpler. Unfortunately I haven’t heard of any 1-1 tutor for CFA so far. Maybe some people do it in internal circles but I have no idea about them. Also if she’s fishing going through the curriculum notes very taxing then tell her to switch to schweser and use the curriculum notes only for practising. Last but not the least tell her to calm down and give it time the staff is usually the hardest and we all feel like we are going nowhere.

Hello, I haven’t personally seen their work as of yet but the reviews I have heard are a bag of extreme mix (either excellent or very bad). I would highly recommend to first take a demo lecture or two and only basis that shall you take the right decision

Hi Pratham, Accounts is a part of CFA not the whole thing…Even science students do it so don’t worry, it’s like starting from scratch (you think like that and it will be fine) Still if you’re still scared, then pls start some classes then invest in the exam. Hi Atharva, CFA with a background in statistics is such a brilliant combination I can’t even put it to words. If you’re interested in finance don’t worry at all, you’ll definitely manage CFA, maybe take up some coaching for convenience is what I’ll suggest.

So for level 1 as far I know he takes both weekdays and weekends (current timings I am not very aware of, they also keep changing basis which exam month you are sitting for but you can check with him whenever you decide to join for 100% clarity)

All topics are equally important, level 1 is the base so definitely spend time understanding everything cuz it will be extremely essential for the coming 2 levels as well. Hello, Laukik shah classes and Manish Sir (if in Andheri) are in the same building! I personally like Manish sir more (I understand the cost constrain though) however even laukik sir is not bad at all. If you are sorted logistically, then maybe do a demo and see who’s style you are liking better (if both feel comfortable, then go with the one that logistically is better).

Honestly Mark Meldrum is who I would suggest in that case…But if you don’t want him, you can go to Manish Sir, Ashwini Sir or Sanjay Sir and pre tell them as well that you don’t understand hindi and they will tell you if they can accommodate or not (most people should agree)

Hello Vikas, The institute will give you a E-version of the notes which you have to print. If you are asking for Schweser notes that has to be purchased from a local shop (make sure you specify the year that you’re giving the exam, Eg: 2024 level 1)…Sometimes it’s also available on Amazon

Doubts are usually solved by waiting back after class and also you will get personal access to him so again that helps! Most CFA classes have large size batches only! Remember it’s not like the Tutions structure we are use to, it’s literally a class!

He does solve questions in the class, can be form the institute, can be the text book questions, etc…He keeps switching!

Not compulsory to take classes, you can study by yourself

Hey, Out of all there Sanjay Sir is the most familiar to me. However to make a decision I suggest:- 1. Take a demo class of each to see who’s style of teaching are you relating with the most (this is very important). 2. If suppose you like 2/3 teachers after the demo then see who logistically matches your needs and go ahead with that mentor ☺️

Yes if:- 1. You are comfortable with 100% online learning 2. You are comfortable with 100% English language (saying this because a lot of students in india find it useful to quickly understand something in Hindi or Hinglish as it’s retains better) 3. Most important: You don’t get confused when a little extra is being taught. Mark is brilliant as a teacher but he also goes very deep into a topic and a lot of those concepts are not a part of the syllabus. Of course he specifies that this is not syllabus related but a lot of people find that very confusing as too much information has been thrown to the brain and it gets tough to differentiate between what is important and what not.

Again same reply, as long as your comfortable with the above points that would mean you are comfortable with his teaching style and that’s the most important point to consider according to me when finding a mentor. Personal suggestion would be to have one mentor for both courses as it would be more convenient and your comfort level will increase in a good way.

I have done both actually and they both have its pros and cons. But with time I have started liking online more as it’s just more convenient and saves on travel time, and other such logistical issues.

Hello, He seems to have removed the playlist and let me in the form of scattered videos. Irrespective I don’t recommend you use that now at all as even during my time which was in 2018 some videos were outdated as he had uploaded a 2016/17 version so as of now it definitely won’t hold value in my opinion.

Hello Dhiraj, I think you took a great decision to take a demo lecture cuz that will give you a very good idea of how Manish sir teaches and how comfortable are you. I suggest you also check out Mark Meldrum’s RU-vid playlist for level 1(it’s an old one but there might be some reading that still matches) so you see where you are more comfortable in understanding.

In my opinion both are good in their own ways! The logical approach is same! Manish sir uses hinglish while teaching so a lot of people connect more, also he does not overdo it most of the times so you are always in line with the syllabus! Mark Meldrum on the other hand, sometimes does teach a little extra that seems very confusing and can lead to you getting confused with the actual syllabus! But that comes with a bonus of getting extra knowledge

Haven’t personally tried him but whatever I have seen on RU-vid and the reviews I have heard, are good so you can definitely a demo lecture at least

@@heartmelody0597 It being free will not affect the explanation…Yes he might teach better to his paid students but to understand the concept it’s fine to use this. Just make sure you are also reading Schweser or institute material for sure so as to not miss anything by mistake. The only disadvantage you can have is he won’t be able to clear your doubts as a paid teacher would.

@@ROHITKUMAR-pl2us 3 months is a little tough, I personally suggest at least 5 months. but I always believe where there is a will there is a way, so if you feel you can do it and have nothing else happening in life then it’s a personal choice.
