My Hopes & Expectations for Life is Strange: True Colors 

Lovely to see a vid from you again :)! I think the thing I want to see most in True Colors is, like you said, more choices and consequences. In Life is Strange 2, I especially loved Daniels' morality meter, and how different choices affected that for pretty much the whole game. I'd love to see that sort of thing in LIS3 (not necessarily a morality meter, just anything that fits the story).

Oh, also, when it comes to the improvements overall - it's definitely visible! The graphics, music, dialog so far really makes me excited. I don't know if you've noticed but the latest trailer (Welcome to HavenS) shows improved graphics, it can be seen on Steph, her faced is more detailed and brightened. There's a comparison in the Reddit LISTC thread ;)

I definitely agree with all of this, but in my opinion I think LIS2 was the best game so far. Yes needs improvements but it was arguably emotionally attaching and somewhat happy and also depressing. That's where it succeeded at. Let's see what LIS3 offers for us in September...

I agree on the choices thing I think giving the players more consequences for their actions should give them more thought I want more butterfly effects to happen in this game

I love the tragedy aspect of Lis. But I think I agree that this game should be more "hopeful". Since Alex's powers effect herself(probably her mental state), I can see some depression themes in the game but the game looks a bit more positive than the other two(even thogh the first one sounded positive too) I think I'm going to like Lis and Lis 2(since Lis 2 is my favorite) more but I have a lot of expectations and hype for this game.

It's always fantastic to see your video! I absolutely agree with every point you've made. I really hope that romantic options impact the story, not in a TheWalkingDeadGame S4 way, where you've got a different scene of romance and a different outcome, but a real change, I don't know how could it play out, but for example romancing Ryan helps Alex get to the truth faster and more efficient (e. g. due to his strength and capability) but Steph's relationship and support helps Alex deal with grief much better and these romance options change the layout of the episodes (I'd be really great if one episode was completely different for everyone depending on the choices, but I don't think it'll happen) And speaking of, the consequence, LiS1's journey ended in the exact same way for everyone, Sacrifice Bay/Chloe ignoring every other option, LiS2 didn't do THAT but still led players to have two options to choose from. I'd be really precise if choices made throughout the game impacted the ending choices and perhaps scenery of it happening. And going back to romance, I'm really glad that we've got a decent romance options here! Mostly Ryan, because both LiS and BtS focused a lot on WLW path (I mean Eliot's not put as a romantic option and is a creep, Warren was definitely a weaker romance option that Chloe but here, True Colors really gave a decent character)

Can't wait for this game. Life is Strange is one the best games I've seen. I've watched The True Colors trailers so many times because it looks so beautiful. I can't wait to see Alex Chen and her friends, I also can't wait to romance Steph and Ryan. Also can't wait for the soundtrack. Not to mention hoping the choices matter.

while i highly doubt TC is going to be better than LiS2 just purely off of how they're marketing the game and how they handled BtS, im still really excited to play TC and the higher budget gives them alot to work with!

Great video! RU-vid sure knows which videos to recommend, because you just got another sub :D About the video itself: #1. Flashbacks: Yeah, definitely expected. I want Gabe flashbacks, but also love the idea of flashbacks via Alex's power! #2. Less Tragedy Porn: I admit it, I absolutely love tragedy porn, which is probably one of the reasons why I love Life is Strange 2 so much XD But yeah, we also need more sweetness, which we'll hopefully get with Ryan & Steph! Speaking of ... #3. Better Romance Paths: Absolutely! While I'm afraid the majority of players will choose Steph by default (I myself am torn apart between them), I obviously hope that both her and Ryan's path will be equally compelling. I don't think there will be a polyamory option though; that would be just too good to be true XD Personally, I just hope that the character you didn't choose will still play a major role in the story instead of being sidelined. #4. Extended Choice and Consequence: Yeah, the series definitely needs more of this. Personally, two separated paths for Ryan and Steph feel like something we can expect, but I would also like lots of different dialogue depending on your choices. :) #5. Ending Variants: I think Before the Storm's modular epilogue was great, where different characters could have different endings depending on your choices. I would like to see something like this in True Colors, with lots of variations if possible. ;)

I think your right about the tragedy stuff but I think all the dire cirstumces in life is strange 2 is acurate to living a life on the when your on the run there are bad people out there on the streets and its not glamarous in the slightest did you think tell me why was too happy and positive

Life is strange 2 had the best choices so i hope they do it well in this one

As someone who isn't particularly interested in black and white monogamous relationships, I really hope they enable a polyamorous playstyle. It would really make me happy to see healthy poly representation. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but representation is short in terms of positivity.
