I love that you have all these pockets of nature around and the city seems calm for its size and population. It is also such a blessing to have friends “near” by to be able to spend 24 hours together and just explore/chill. Can’t wait to visit Taiwan 🇹🇼 soon 🙏🏻
Teachers teach toddlers in kindergarten to share toys, stationery, books, etc. And kids would find much fun by sharing with peers. I guess your sharing with a bestie is a kind of reward that maybe priceless!
Lovely video! Hsinchu is so beautiful and I enjoyed my virtual tour around! I really hope to visit someday also I loved seeing the glassblowing! I remember seeing this when I was little and was always fascinated!💙💚💜
I'm grew up in Hsinchu, my junior high school has glass class like the 05:36, that one is really difficult ,also another way called 噴砂 (make glass to fog, can paint on it, not sure how to call it by English), it's really fun, I still keep those glass work in my secret box :D I also like walk in the bridge of Hsinchu park's lake, there a lot birds and turtles, I can sitting there for few hours to watch them.
I live in Hsinchu city for 10 years and I think you are really localized. People feel relax when they walking in the Hsinchu park. BTW, the flower market only open on Saturday and Sunday. I think "The Diner" is the best brunch restaurant in Hsinchu, the burger is really good! There is a joke say that Hsinchu people are stay in Big City (巨城) or on the way to Big City every weekend. Haha. Thank you for introducing Hsinchu city on RU-vid!
Hi, Jenn! Sorry for taking so long to watch this video, but it was nice to see glimpses of parts of Hsinchu I hadn't seen before! And it was cool seeing the shot of the Mister Donut in the background at the HSR station at the end - that brings back memories! But since I spent most of my time in Taiwan down in Chiayi, now I'm curious what Lilla does there and look forward to seeing you travel there for more videos in the future! Lol!
Love your videos! They are super high quality and you can tell a lot of work and love goes into them! Out of curiosity, do you still keep in contact with your friends from Japan?
Many people don't realize why Hsinchu associates with glass blowing art while it's a semiconductor focused city of Taiwan? Mainly because, unlike the rest part of Taiwan, Hsinchu vicinities might be able to dig out natural gas from the underground since century ago, glass industries therefore bloomed in these areas due to lower cost at glass blowing process.
