They taste differently , Naija Jellof has a unique flavours, and senegalese jellof tastes like the Naija native rice with palm oil I 've eaten Senegalése jellof, it's has got veggies, meat yes with Broken rice like you did, but okra in it too but I prefer the one I grew Up With, the one that we all know. It's hard to pick one. I Will never answer that question either because Jellof rice is originally from Senegal, but Naija perfect it for their palate. Thank you for sharing sister 👍

For everyone one asking where to get a pot like her’s, it looks like a Chinese sand pot. I think Japan and maybe Korea has something similar, but I don’t know their name for it. They’re made of clay, and you have to learn how to use and take care of them or they’ll crack. Only use them on open flame stove or in ovens. Soak before using, and there are probably other maintenance tips too. Remember not to wash them with soap/detergent or the clay will absorb the soap/detergent. Hope this helps❤

You have to take the vegetables out too except if you use mixed vegetables....am Gambian is the same Jollof and we call it "Benachin" meaning One Pot... The Vote will always go to "Benachin" of course so Senegambian will always win. The method for Jollof Rice and "Benachin" called Jollof Rice by others is a little different tho, it all depends on the cooks too.

You need oil enough to cook rice. Otherwise it will be dry and not good. Yeah maybe not healthy but you can opt for a healthier oil such as avocado oil or a cholesterol free vegetable oil. The veggies are fine like that too. In North African cooking, when we make couscous we keep vegetable pieces big like that too. It’s Just how it’s done. And btw Senegalese food is way better than Nigerian, i love chicken yassa, senegalese couscous aka tiere …..
