Thank you, you gave me hope. Just broke my leg and ankle during a training, I had surgery too and I'm afraid to loose my level. With your video I understood that it will take time and I would have to respect the basics movement training, but I'll do it. Thanks so much.
I feel you man, I got tendinitis after switching to 1 rest day a week and I couldn't work out for 4 months. A few weeks ago I was able to start again and it still hurts on some exercises, but I'm getting back to where I was
I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago, trying a 360 in a very unestable bar, not a good idea now i know but ur video give me the motivation I need to heal and keep going! thumbs up!
How long did you take from rehab to full strength? I had a couple of injuries last year which forced me to step back. Initially I had a 'go get it' mentality where I disregarded pain and continued training through it. Just before I watched this video I felt that although through these setbacks I gained pearls of wisdom on rehabilitation, I was weakened and that there was 'nothing I could do about that' or 'I would never be the same again'. But after witnessing your comeback I realize that anything is possible given patience and pure grit. Thanks brother!
Be very careful with going to hefestos from swing, or gainer, because if the tendon is tight it may get really bad. Glad you are ok now! Really motivating! 💪👊
Just last week I started training supinated planche again.. I have already done straddle and press but didn't try full yet! I'll try it tomorrow and let you know :)
can you do a hefesto now?because I didn't see any clips of it after the injury..do you consider hefesto dangerous?because I have a lot of second thoughts about starting to train this move
I can. Hefestos can cause lots of injuries, specially on biceps, shoulders and wrists, IF not trained properly. But with good warm up and cautious training it can be achievable with no problems.
my injury lasts for almost 3 months already but last 2 weeks I am pain free and now I started gradually building my way up to the old workout routine so hopefully during next 2 months I will return completely, I had and have still muscle strain around mid back , either latisimus or traps and I just hope I will be able to achieve all calist skills that I want and that this injury wont affect my plans?? it was really sharp pain and lasted for long , will I be able to do freestyle calistenics in future???
I can't tell you for sure, but I believe so! The important thing is to not rush the process of building your strength back. But with time, you will heal and become even stronger than before.
Dururu Valles could be a type of tendinitis. Which pain can come from doing “heavy” , “hard” or explosive movements such as muscle up, front lever, heavy bench press, etc. without warming up. Warming up is super important. I used to have pain in my bicep everytime I worked out and then I took 10 days off and started doing a proper warm up and the pain hasn’t come back
those transition into the hefesto are so fucked up.. they are the fastest way to injuries like this, just don't pls. just the hefesto by itself is the most dangerous skill overall, and it's ugly af imo P.S you are an awesome athlete btw so, don't risk your health again with this dumb move.
