Michelle Brigandage is a friend of mine since 1985, and I was fortunate to see her band play recently in Camden Town at the Dublin Castle. ( For a full-set video, please click on the separate RU-vid Channel "Tomorrow's History TV" ).
A few days later, I coaxed her into giving a short interview. She is famous for being photographed at the 100 Club at the Punk Festival in Sept. of 1976, as well as for her band Brigandage, who are playing at the Rebellion Festival on August 1st.
In this interview she talks about what it was like seeing the Sex Pistols in 1976, as one of the few girls in the audience and as an early fan. She has a one-of-a kind perspective and many unique stories. And Michelle is still a punk rocker today. Punk lives!
