Roger was the perfect Gentleman. What a fabulous Actor he was. So Classy and not full of himself either. I think he was a one off. A fabulous Bond. They don't make them like Roger anymore. Stevie in Scotland.

A gem that RU-vid decided to suggest to me, a great interview and you have to admire his humbleness and self deprecation to the end.

This interview is in 2011 - Moore is 83 or 84 Lovely conversation. He always strikes me as very grounded & humble

He was a genuine nice man who had time to sit & chat. He came from very poo roots and never took anything for granted.

@@TonyMarquee I think this is one of his best interviews too - he is very relaxed. On the big TV interviews he could sometimes be very funny - which is what some interviewers wanted - but on some he seemed a bit tense. I actually think he was someone who was thoroughly decent but not given to over analysing himself, gossipping, showing off (which is what many stars do). There were some lovely stories about him after he died - from ordinary people who had encountered him by chance.

A genuine man very assured of himself, his deprecating wit and relax demeanor puts him in the plateau of the great eclectic artists. I always love Sir Roger, I grew up with his films, this man was a class act in every respect. His efforts to help those less fortunate souls through UNICEF will never be forgotten. Rest easy Sir Roger, your work here is done dear Sir. 💐

Sir Roger has long been my favourite actor. Thank you so much for sharing this! I wonder how this evening was organised? Had Roger already agreed to do this before the cruise or did someone notice him onboard after the ship had set sail and ask him to do it? THANKS!!!!

He was cruising with my ship (Azamara Cruises) as a paying guest. We asked if he would care to be interviewed by me & any money raised from the photos etc would go to his Unicef fund. He jumped at the chance. Very off the cuff idea but I only had abut 3 days to read everything I could about him to work on how I would interview him. Fascinating man.

Tony, thanks you so much for posting this. Roger Moore was such a character. Loved him as Bond. I would of asked him "What was it like working with Richard Burton and Richard Harris on The Wild gees?" Bet you them three were out drinking every night :)

He is always repeating himself in every interview. It gets boring, l have to say.

When you are that age and have been in so many movies, there ste only so many questions you can be asked so the answers will always be the same. What question would you have asked? I had a few I never got time to ask.

Why would he become a freemason and thus a part of the llluminati, who are obsessed of ruling the globe. (l'm so tired of seeing those checkered floors, everywhere.) That would have wiped any smile off his face.

@@TonyMarquee I would have liked someone to ask how he liked a film he has said in the past is one of his favourites named ( I think ) "The Man Who had Two Faces." It's a serious film and I believe he was proud of his performance in it. I think that's what it's called. I saw it some time ago and it is pretty good.

Well, was he supposed to give different answers to the same questions everytime he was giving an interview? For example, he was definitely tired of answering questions about Bond, and one way handling that was to make jokes about it.

Both Moore and Bowie aged fast and rather prematurely after suffering from the heart attack. Maybe, the health condition didn’t allow them to exercise or the medication had side effects that prevented them from keeping in shape.

No. Bowie died much younger than Roger. Roger Moore was around 90 when he died and popped up on English TV from time to time all the way up until his death. He's clear as a bell in this interview considering his age. Legend.
