When I was learning to sew in 9th grade, we all made blouses with raglan sleeves. Supposedly they are easier than set in sleeves because you can either put them in right or wrong. I put them on FOUR times before I got them right.

Sam, you are so photogenic! Every one of your makes looks fantastic!! You have inspired me to take out my Sienna (from 2019) and get that made up- yours is wonderful. What a treat to see you and your beautiful makes! Have you tried spraying the ink mark with hairspray to remove it? It often works. I'm looking forward to actually participating in the fugal challenge this year...instead of watching from the sidelines.

Great to see your vlog, lovely makes :) I just have a question about all the free patterns put there in the sewing internet universe, has anyone ever put together a spreadsheet anywhere, maybe in garment categories??

Hi Robyn, not that I know of, it would be quite an undertaking, however, if you look at my playlist of Free patterns, I’ve done some videos highlighting certain garment types. Also Making & Books has a blog post that has 100s of free patterns categorised. It’s not a full list of everything but enough to get you going! Also B-road in the seams has a similar list highlighting + size pay. Hope that helps

Hey Sam, I have a question about the Sew frugal this year please; Can we use a pattern we already own that wasn’t free to start with or does it need to be actually free. It would be cheaper from me to use a pattern I already own. No back to watching your video.
