YoreTiller what York said, all depends on how you look at it. Obviously if your living in a rain Forrest that’s a different story. But Casey has only 20/30 mins away from home and he’s in nature+the ocean helps a lot also.
Since finding Casey a few years ago he seems like the neighbor down the street who stops by just to share life... whether good or bad. Then we smile and go forward until the next time we catch up. Thanks for checking in my friend.
Ricardo Barcelo He proved that you can be who ever you want in your life , it is in your hands, u want to grind and hustle, ok let's go? Or you want to be family person and be quite and present, let's go again. Live your life how you want and be yourself.
@@spaghetti_monster Look - we are the ones who made him famous & successful just by watching his content (which is 100% free, by the way). He doesn't owe us a single penny. Just let him do what he wants, it's entirely his decision. Also, you're allowed to swear in the comment section. No need to censor them, it just looks weird.
We all go through seasons in life. With every season, I hope that we take away lessons that we were open to learning. Then we can step into the next season a little wiser and a little kinder.
To be fair, between 2012 and 2019 he did quite a fucking lot lol... the man was snowboarding/wakeboarding behind a drone I don't even know what this would be called
iComplainer I watched Casey’s videos from day 1. I watched when he had an HBO show. What has he inspired you to do? Jack shit. He’s an entertainer. That’s what youtubers are. The quality of his channel has nosedived. He comes out with a little update piece every several months. You can pretend otherwise, but these are facts.
sidebox give the guy a break he wants to be with his family at least he doesn’t only care about views, likes, and subscribers unlike 90% of other large youtubers.
Mad respect for you, not just for doing this but for everything you had to deal w in the background. You’re one of the few real ones out there. Nothing to worry about because balance is what you need and balance can be practiced in almost anything. God bless you and your fam🙏🏼
JamesKnechtel I did My Collar Bone when I was a Kid. It always hurts like hell when I’m Running. Doesn’t stop Me Running, but does remind Me that I was once a Kid.
Damn, getting goosebumps during this video. Watching you since 2013 and I am 19 now so basically my whole existence as a teenager. So happy for you. Kinda feels like you finally are where you belonged all along.
Im happy for casey like ive been watching his videos for three years now and ive learnd alot from him and i rally hope u enjoy your new life in La.thank you for everything casey keep doing what ur doing
1 year later it’s still my favorite video because LA is my desired place to live and the music helped me find tommy newport who i adore. plus Casey is also the best!
Thanks for being 100%you. Way older than you and dealing with health issues that changed everything and did a reset in 2020 in the tangled bits of my life. You and other creators help remind me I don't have to live in the limits or be ashamed of the stumbles, failures as I reinvent myself at 63.
Casey I've been following since daily vlog #20, like 5/6 years ago I think, and in this time I have been considering you, your grind and your way to live a model to pursue, your good vibes are and have been always a lifesaver. Now take your time with your family and don't feel guilty for the beautiful Life YOU have created for yourself. Thank you for everything. Love from Italy
awesome videos Casey! Always been a fan of your work, creativity and passion you put into content. Even though it's fun to live life in at full speed, it's important to remember to appreciate what one has and with whom one can live these moments. I think you made a good choice to be with your family in LA and to wind down. In my opinion this will just fuel your creativity. Thanks for being such a big motivation in starting my own channel : ) cheers!
Your videos are amazing and I've been watching you for a while now! yours such an inspiration and amazing genuine person. It was a great choice to move out there to focus more on yourself and your family!
Bro I love you man. I know I am not alone obviously look at 12m wow congrats. I just wanted to say THANK YOU. I have been watching your stuff for years and it is a privilege to see you share your genuine thoughts and craft. Anyways. Cheers. I like your Vlogs.
I didn’t realize how much I miss Casey vlogs until now. The editing and genuineness is so refreshing. I will always keep clicking on these little videos Casey!!
Moy Casey is the biggest egotistical douchenozzle this website has ever seen. Not the nice guy you see on camera. Doucheeeeeee with huggggggeeee ego, trust that
Whyuwatchinthis he has the right for that, at least he deserves that, who says that people can’t be egoistic yet still consistent with excellent skills?
Good luck with everything in life Casey, you for surely did have an impact on my life. Been following you since years now (before the vlogs) and its been an incredible journey. Today I was feeling a bit down and I wanted to see if you had any new content and turns out I missed out on this :) feeling better now.
"I wanted to move here and work less", words that I dont think I ever imagined to hear come out of Caseys mouth. Good for him though, with the NYC lifestyle he was pretty much overdue for a heartattack
Five years of work and now your a millionaire and can enjoy your free time. Amazing that you got out of New York before the COVID hit. I can’t imagine how you would of coped with it. Keep making videos and inspiring the masses. We need it , especially now ! Peace and Joy to you and your family !
I'm so proud of him for reconsidering his priorities. Because life is too fast to put family on the back burner. I'm so glad he finally legit saw that and moved somewhere more chill.
Agreed, I think he needs to find some balance though. Like it doesn't have to be one or another. You can still be involved with your family but still work hard. I think Casey just has this all in attitude so hopefully the pendulum will land somewhere in the middle.
@@miket9396 he is doing that now, eh? I feel happy so many people care about this random fam, this random man. And that he is humble enough to also recognize us. 😊
@@barbarahuhn1926 hope he's happy doing what he's doing, just seems to me as an outside observer that he's putting a lot of pressure on himself, like it has to be one or the other.
He's lucky he can do that, most of us cannot. normal people work constantly and even have multiple jobs because have no choice, otherwise would end up homeless and more likely there is little to no chance for retirement or by time we can retire we are too old to do all things we wished we could. Everyone i know works non-stop, doesn't have time for anything and yet still barely even surviving as cost of living keeps going up and wages stay the same, and it's only going to keep getting harder in the future by looks of it and we are lucky as there plenty of countries and people out there even worst off. i keep telling myself it's ok, have to be lucky to be alive, and better off then some people out there. but thought of working rest of my life never accomplishing anything until day i die more likely then not is really depressing to point where i have to force myself to only think about today, and not about future just going through my routine. But that's majority of people, only small percentage of population gets lucky enough to actually choose what they want to do. Most of rest of us don't. I can't ever see myself starting a family when i can't even afford to keep going on my own, how hel could i afford a family, oh wait that's right i could work 2 jobs at once full time to afford it,, but then catch is you can't spend anytime with your family, wow, life so much fun!
The cinematography is truly special. I watch a lot of RU-vid and your use of shots makes me feel things most other videos don’t even scratch - awe and wonder.
It's taken me 2 months watching from the emergency brake until now to get to this stage of your vlogs. You've certainly made me think about a lot of things good. Thank you Casey
This actually just makes me so happy to see that he’s not stressed anymore and all the hard work that he has put in for the last like 10 years is paying of with family time
Loved his thoughts about sprints and breaks and love the concept (Tim Ferriss) of mini-retirements. That is the way to live! Passion projects, then rest
New watcher of your videos! Love every single one of them! Congrats on the move. Your success is your family all the rest is for fun! Keep making these videos!
Why are you quoting yourself and dating it? The fact that you posted it lets us know you said it...and it's obviously 2019. If this is a meme, it's really stupid.
I’ll honestly enjoy a vlog once in a blue moon knowing you’re enjoying life more than daily vlogs knowing you’re missing out on the important things. Take care casey and thankyou!
That's how you grow dude I respect your decision and wish you all the happiness in your life and living with family sharing and caring this is true life in a sense away from all the rush and work being in nature
It's good to know you and the family are doing well. It's also good to hear you've gained some self-awareness with regard to your life and what it should be, versus the grind it had become. That's always a good thing. BTW, I broke the same collarbone you did, and just as severely, when I was 23 (many years ago). If i run my hand over it I can still feel the lump where the break healed. It doesn't give me any trouble in daily life, but I've noticed when doing dumbbell and kettlebell workouts at the gym that my right side is no longer as strong as my left side. Be well and take care.
I kind of forgot that watching caseys vlogs was a really big part of my life in the past years... Nice that you're back and good to hear you are happy in LA! Greets from Germany!
Casey don’t every stop being you. Family first , you’re right to do so. I continue to watch and follow you because you inspire us to do what others say we can’t. Thank you for the motivation and inspiration. Keep moving, stay busy!
Casey, this was seriously one of the best, if not best video you have made. It has all the elements; honesty, insight, retrospective, personal thoughts and life lesson. I related to every word you have said, having focused on work and hustle in NY. Till I reached a certain success and was able to move to The beach in Bal Harbour Florida. I awake everyday putting on my shorts and heading downstairs to the beach to catch the sunrise. Even if its a cloudy rainy day, starting my day this way make everyday start perfectly. I take my drone, or go pro the the beach and make it a point to capture the sunrise or first light. I have found those few hours alone on the beach each day to be such rewarding time, either in relaxation or contemplation. I am so excited for you to have found this enjoyment for yourself and family. I thank you for all the great content you give so many of us. I will be hoping you continue this path. If you ever need to be re grounded again, send me a note and I will set you straight. Steve_drone_shots, Bal Harbour, Fla
Your the man Casey. Thanks for being an inspiration brother. Your always just you and haven’t changed with the success. Also proved you don’t need all this fancy gear to build one the most successful RU-vid channels out. I got stuck in gear buying mode and never used half it. Anyway thanks brother keep rocking man.
Yeah Casey's such a stud to you huh? You women have pushed us over the edge for the last time. I'm leading the alpha uprising because we meat and potatoes guys are sick of seeing you date beta males time and again while we stand on the sidelines waiting for you to learn from your mistakes. We'll make sure that betas never steal our sexy, female prizes again
SO PROUD OF YOU CASEY FOR SHARING SO OPENLY WITH US! That's why you're an inspiration and an example! We love you. Take time with your loved ones, we'll be here :)
No, this encapsulates the idea of someone who got rich as fuck over the last 5 years on social media and got the fuck out of the meat grinder which is life. Transitioning from “man” to “father” is usually not as romantic of a concept as you are seeing in this 9 minute video.
@@itsmetheeprd I mean, you're not entirely wrong. But Casey was rich a few years ago, the point is that it took until now to see the error in chasing every single dollar and accomplishment.
I remember when my daughter was about the age of your daughter (waving with you at end of video). She now has two little ones of her own. Work is always there, videos can always be rewound and replayed but we only have one shot at spending time with the little ones. Good that you're appreciating value of spending time with family.
“You gotta take safety seriously.”- Guy who drinks coffee while filming himself and controlling a boosted board in the middle of busy New York City streets(*without a helmet*)
Most people don’t realize until they become parents how often we all live, “do as I say not as I do” every day. If every one of us were honest with ourselves about how often have we said, “don’t text when you’re driving, walking, crossing the street!” but how many of us still do it anyway? I now put my phone deep in my bag to show my kids that I WILL NOT BE TEMPTED! (Because I am so tempted). It’s human nature to know you should do something, to make SURE your kids are safe, but to think, “well I can just NOT DO IT because I have much more experience.” 🤔 I struggle with it every day.

"Always around" says Candice. And even more with the pandemia... I've started to watch the first of your vlogs like months ago (I'm not sure but I guess at the beginning of the France's confinement)... and here I am. Almost at the end of your videos. Looking forward, like everyone else, to watching your next new uploads! You're an inspiration. Thanks Casey!
You will probably never read this but I'm glad you hit the reset button. I'm glad you are spending more time with your family. That is the season you are in, take it and enjoy it. I am just a few months older than you. My daughter and your oldest daughter were born days apart. My daughter's birthday was 12/7/14. We lost her earlier this year to leukemia. We don't know how much time we have with our loved ones. Take as much time with them as you can. I enjoy your family and your videos. They inspire me. Thank you!!
My dad used to travel a lot more when I was younger. I'll always remember how happy I was when he got to stay home more. Your kids will appreciate you for making the effort to be around
