►About the Game -
You wake up at your home, but something does not seem right. Looking around your house, you begin to notice things are different than what you remember. You use a camera to take photos to reveal the truth, to remember what was there. Your memory is fading; the longer things remain different, the faster you succumb. Keys to find, mysteries to solve, a home to explore. You need to keep your memory intact to put together pieces of your life and remember who you are and what has happened. Only then will you get the peace that you desire.
During your play-through, you will need to study the layout of the home and what each room looks like. Over time, things will change and it is up to you to correct what changes in order to keep your sanity in tact. The more you let your sanity drain the more horror elements will occur and things that will change. If you let your sanity drain too far you will succumb and lose. There is no saving, a loss will end your play and you will need to restart.
Take photos of objects that have changed to return them to normal and prevent sanity loss.
Solve puzzles around the house to keep unlocking new rooms.
Piece together story elements to progress the main story and discover what happened. Piecing together the entire story is how you win.
Take pills to restore memory and keep your sanity in check.
All puzzles, changing objects, horror elements and story elements are randomized on each play, allowing multiple plays to keep each play feeling different.
A normal and hard difficulty setting, both difficulties unlocked from the start.
Normal difficulty is meant to be an appropriate challenge, ramping up in difficulty the longer you play.
Hard difficulty is meant to be very challenging, introducing many new things that can change, increased puzzle difficulty and less overall time.
Statistics to track what you have accomplished and your best completed time for each difficulty.

Other players: "- Look at these graphics", "-Look at the size of this map", "-Look at the amount of missions." Chris: "- The toilet works, it is a great game". The concept of this game is not new but quite interesting, it reminds those games where there are two similar drawings where you must spot differences and this game took that to a new level.

This is a fun twist on the ‘spot the difference’ genre. The first part with the birds was funny, it almost gets you into the mindset of the protagonist; looking for connections and signs. The jumpscares were also nice although I think they would be better if they were just sight based, that way since you’re already looking for stuff it would take you a second to startle.

That was creepy and challenging. So much going on--like a fully-immersed Observation Duty with puzzles and lore. Nice level of detail. Very effective/realistic sound design. Pretty good jump scares. And, I loved the subtle desaturation of colors as one's sanity waned. Chris' steadily increasing anxiety made _me_ anxious. 😂

Hey so a lil tip if you know someone with psychosis or with a form of schizophrenia Don't deny the things they're going through. It doesn't work and makes them feel more isolated and less likely to trust you. Remember, in that moment, that is reality for them. It's a delusion but everything feels real to them. Getting their trust is an important factor in getting them to take their medication and as well them coming to you for help. And you can then get them help.

You're correct! When I was working in Corrections, I had a female inmate believe she was Jesus. Other officers she gave them hell, but I spoke to her about it like it was true & she trusted me to do what I asked. Trying to show them they are wrong can make a situation become harmful to them, yourself, or others. But there's also a line with this..... if what they want would cause harm to anyone, it's best to call a professional.

I know in late to watch this video and looking through comment and i just have to say THANK YOU!❤️ lived/living with someone with schizophrenia took psychology got 5 years i never understood till i watched senuas sacrifice i cried for days. Seeing the struggle he goes through when he sees them and not interacting with them is heart breaking. Medication does work he stopped seeing the hallucinations we didnt have benefits then but we’re hoping he can have that peace hes been wanting for the past 10+ years again. (Side note when he did find the hallucinations werent there he looked so sad and alone we were both at a loss at that point)

@@_stillborn You need to get them to a state where they trust you enough so you can get them help or know if they are going to harm themselves or others If you push back too much they will retract and the delusions may continue on for longer as they dont get help. Or they end up harming themselves, as they're more likely to hurt themselves than others

The fact you can “light” the candles in the attic makes me think you need to light all of them (or possibly certain candles). I just find it odd that you can light them up there, but nowhere else. And, no, I did not see the last frame. My thought is it’s in the basement, along with one of the chest keys. Lol! Really interesting game. Quite enjoyed the puzzles, and that the changed objects jiggle a little to help you find them. Would love to see more of this. Thanks, Chris.

I've played this 3 times, and STILL have yet to beat it. I came back to your playthrough to see what you got accomplished, and it seems we're at the same pace. Fun game for sure!

Only half way through, but I couldn't help myself: this game is ConFABULOUS! I think it has the right amount of scares sprinkled through in pretty subtle ways (which is more up my alley than shoving it right in your face while screaming bloody murder), and I think the audio has the right balance. Visuals are obviously fantastic with good realism, and the puzzles seem fun with a good difficulty meter. I do think the "find the difference" puzzle is a little too subtle in some parts; Like the book being open went it's meant to be closed, or the bird that isn't actually visible in that setting when the character starts to lose it, but over all it's been great to watch. If I wasn't such a coward and actually had a gaming system, I would like to play this.

Hard game to beat even in normal from what I see. They have made some good work here. The possible outcome that the realtives are dead could be true, but also that could be another confabulation... And I'm sure some of things you have seen were prothetic. "And then he saw a cat on a toilet. And the cat look upon him and said - Meow! Feed me you filthy plebe! Or I'll make you eat only cereal and all pizza will be eaten by your fellow demon"

This was a fun one, I like the premise and execution of this eye spy type game. The actual design of the house was realistic, I can see this being a real house unlike so many other horror game houses (you know what I mean). It's a tough game but I appreciate that factor. What a fun gem, Chris!

This reminds me of three types of games. 1. I'm on observation duty 3 with the whole taking photos, they both are also based on spot the difference. which I find really cool! 2. The Mortuary Assistant with the cool scary monsters that appear and leave when they spot you staring at them, those types of jumpscare is really unsettling and I wish many people add that to their horror games. 3. The last one I kinda forgotten the name to, it has been years since I watch it but the pills did bring back a bit of memories, since in the game you are meant to take them if your sanity is really low, I have to watch every horror game to find it again. as for now, I think others may also see different games that are similar in the same way, but for now it only reminds me of 2/3 games.

This was a clever "find the object" game, with some challenging aspects to it. As for the narrative, it's come across to me more along the lines of negative mental health, rather than supernatural. Even with that document in the attic, it's possible the protagonist is imagining it. I've known people who saw things others don't, due to health reasons. This game does do that aspect justice.

In my humble opinion, succumbing should be far more dramatic. With the three demons lurking but never being an actual threat, I'd prefer a stable manifestation near the end and an attack that takes you out. Symbolic or not, it would create more tension, and even after the first try, knowing it's coming would be quite unnerving.

Does anyone else think that bathroom at the intro screen looks a lot like the one in Visage? I don't know if the game developers did this intentionally but they have made this game immensely difficult. You are supposed to notice sometimes very small items moving and every second that something is out of place your sanity meter in game drops (Which you cannot see). Even though you have the visual clue when your sanity is dropping all that does is make things even more difficult by obstructing your vision. Even on normal mode this was how things worked. I would understand if you were playing on a hard or very hard mode but as it stands the game really doesn't give you a lot to work with. It is like a survival game having a hunger meter but you cannot see it and as you get hungry your character walks slower making it harder to even find more food. IMO they need to give the player more to work with.

It's only immensely difficult at the start. Like many video games, it gets easier the more time you put into it. The more you play, the more you start to remember how the house normally looks and what looks out of place. For example, when the bathtub changes, it will always shrink, so when you're looking around for what may be causing the candle to light up, you can take a very quick peek into the bathroom to notice if the bathtub is how it should be or not. It slowly, gradually, becomes more familiar, like the stack of toasters, the UFO in the painting, the open book when it should be closed, the rug in the attic, and so on. It seems like these are tiny details at first, but after you've noticed it like 3 or so times, it becomes second-nature.

As a Melanie its so odd to hear my name in a game lol I was responding to a message and almost responded to it lol. Its a good game, love the aspect of things changing with the camera(I have a mental illness that causes hallucinations and were taught to use our phone camera as real objects will show up while hallucinations wont!) Also jumpcares were good, even tho they werent a bit frequent each time was still a good surprise.
