I picked up this Mitsubishi Satoh Buck s470d Tractor nearly 4 years ago. It runs great and hasn't giving my any trouble. Instagram - / coquillettewoodworking Facebook - CoquilletteW...
In 76, Dad bought a 372 Beaver, with a belly mower, snow plow, disk & plow too. He wanted a 4wd but the dealer couldn't get one. Ours was 15 hp, 2 cylinder, with a catergory O 3pt. hitch. Oh, and the pto turned in the opposite direction that the ones made a few years later turned. Dad's 92, he still has it and in his 80's he overhauled the engine and replace the transmission. Our air clearner was outside of the hood; it was aftermarket. Love watching this - thank you for sharing.
I also have my dad's Beaver. It's not currently running, but that's on my list of things to do. It has a finish mower and a tiller and front end loader. Thank you for the comment.
In 1972 I got a job at a local garden center, who also did grounds maintenance. They sold these tractors and also used them on jobs such as lawn establishment at new home sights. I thought they were wonderful, I loved running them.
Do you know where you can get parts for these tractors, I just bought one that was in a storm and need some of the sheet metal parts and steering shaft
Check this site out, www.satohparts.com/ I have picked up quit a few parts from them. Also, check here www.wengers.com/agriculture/tractor-parts/satoh.html. These are fun little tractors for sure. Thank you for the comment John. I hope you get yours running soon.
