Kamu seorang anak yang baik..anak yang sangat sayang pada ibu bapa isteri..bersyukur kamu mempunyai ibu yang peramah, suka senyum, ayah yang sangat santai dan isteri yang sangat baik..welcome to malaysia bro..
So far in these videos it's most heartwarming to see the way Steve looks at his mum so lovingly. The Jetlag warriors are proof you don't need to be a local to be a great ambassador & host
Guys stoppppp, the most wholesome video!! Hello aunty, welcome to Malaysia! Soso happy to have you here. Enjoy all the food you can (& yes 10pm eating is the norm aunty hehe, enjoy lah!) 😄🤗🇲🇾
Hello Guys, and Hello Mr. Steve , Steve Mom + Dad and Bu Ivana, greetings from Pontianak City, West Borneo, honestly i really love Malaysian foods, even though i only eat some foods like Nasi Lemak, Nasi Ayam, Laksa and Briyani Rice, although i haven't try Ramly burger yet, i wish i can try it when in next opportunity has arrived, then i have a chance to go to Malaysia 🇲🇾😊 Oh btw about Suhanjayalian, an Indonesian individual, i quite knew that he have PHD (penyakit hasad dengki) in disguise of being Overproud Indonesian toward anyone who made videos about Malaysia, then what worse is that he think Nasi Uduk is the same as Nasi Lemak (despite quite different), hmm also he is a blind Indonesia fanatics (while me an Indonesian just normal), with talk ill (plus hoax) when ever and what ever any videos about Malaysia that he come to watch (such as Suhanjayalian frequently appeared in This channel), plus actually he really love to provoke Malaysians to reply with his comment, which is why he really likes it, the key is just ignore him, in best as possible, oh plus his account is around since January 6th, 2014, which is quite long time, oh and my Malaysian friend told me that his real named is "Joni Andreas Faska" and his second account is already around since March 24th, 2018.
@9:40 Most of the sidedishes are not to be eaten on its own. The flavor are too over-powering by itself. You need to take it together with rice. Where possible, give them a good mix on your plate before you gobbled it down. And some of them like salted eggs, salted fish, tempoyak, sambal and anchovies etc, you just need a small pinch to be mixed with any gravy and rice. Mix them up with your fingers is the best. That's how we do it.
You standing at the junction where two rivers meet (Gombak river on your Left and Klang river on your Right hand side). In the middle of years 1850s entire town of Kuala Lumpur (KL) filled by density of forest. One of the royal family of Selangor (Raja Abdullah) take his initiative by bring in 87 people to do a tin mining in the area where today called Ampang. The demand for tin product generate a business and the other people started to resides and open a business along these 2 river banks where eventually built a town rapidly. The name of Kuala Lumpur came from the place where these 2 rivers meet (a confluence) to become a single channel. The tin mining process caused the river to be filled by mud (Malay called 'Lumpur') and the mud accumulated at the confluence (Malay called Kuala) of the 2 rivers and this situation dedicated for this area to be name as Kuala Lumpur (muddy confluence). Actually this is the real spot of the foundation centre of the Kuala Lumpur.
So happy seeing your parents enjoying their time! If I may, 1 hidden tips for using the power of the hand, i would actually look at the driver and politely nod as a thank you, courtesy goes both ways 😁 you would usually see the drivers raise their hand or nod back to you
Very happy to see your parents enjoyed themselves despite the super hot and humid weather. Great that both of them could handle those anchovies. Come on, Steve, you have to try harder ! 😂 Yeah, your mom is already very Malaysian, having a Ramly burger at 10pm.....oh wow, she loved it. So sorry that the hop on hop off bus is a disappointment. Well, overall, it's a good impression for both your parents 👍👍
43 years and they're still holding hands.... reallly touched my hearts.... 🥰🥰🥰 Steve... you are lucky to have such a wonderful parents... please treat them the best that you can.... If you want to try another Ramly Burger in town, try Burger Boss at the end of Jalan Alor.... they dip the patty in a special sauce and please order "special with cheese"... for me that is the best... and if you like chicken, you can try the crunchy chicken burger, it doesn't use patty, it use original crunchy fried chicken as the patty... very delicious.... 😋😋😋
Yeah man, you should hold your partner's hand often when you two are walking, it's a very simple yet very deep honest to earth gesture, not to mention it keeps you both close together for better safety as well
the HOHO bus was a terrible let down but you can hop off and hop on another bus at any bus stop.. good choice of burger spot as they're not serving the typical style soggy-too-much-sauce-kinda-ramly-burger.. and if you're gonna get another bite of ramly burger at any normal burger stall, just tell them to put less sauce...
Hi! It seems your mum likes fruits. Don't forget to bring her to fruit stalls and introduce her to a variety of fruits. Tips for the hot weather: 1. Carry an umbrella to create your own shade. 2. Maybe you can buy the portable fan (rechargeable with battery or usb) that you can carry around. Take care 😊
Thank you for this video. What a wonderful explorations in KL. Really good that you guys are well acquaintanted with KL, making it easy to plan and move around the city.
Went on the hop on hop off tour once few years back, they had a tour guide explaining stuff throughout. They really need to do something about the speakers, cause what's the point of the tour anyway? lol
It's cool that they came to visit for sure. I haven't been to Malaysia yet, but it seems like a good place to bring someone to a far flung country as a first visit. It's English speaking and if you look at lots of expat videos, aside from the weather and population, it is very adaptive for people from North America. Far harder to visit in a place like Laos or Vietnam.
Hey Steve, you could just hop off from the current bus and wait for the next bus and hop on it using the same ticket at any pit stop plus, the same ticket could be use again the next day if i'm not mistaken.
Good vlogg! Hope Malaysia will continue to be interesting to your Mom & Dad as the days get by. Steve, you look much like your dad. Ivana your a good daughter👍
well as someone that have aged, i can say my taste buds are less sensative compare when i was younger and the best cooks in Malaysia are the elders. So the best food in malaysia are great bcoz we cant really taste it, hence we intensify as much as we could
Hopefully your mum won't grumbling much about the weather, bring to the mall if she find it's to hot she might feel happy besides there's lots of thing to see anyway, specially dedicated to your mum " Welcome to Malaysia Ma'am have a pleasant stay"🙏
Your mother is so adorable! Glad you and family are enjoying your stay while indulging and experiencing the many things Malaysia has to offer! Do keep safe nevertheless and also happy memories always!
I dont know how far back is this video but my advice is please be gentle on the parents I mean this stinging hot weather can be quite harsh for the elderly let alone if you are frm diffrent climate. Stay hydrated & shaded mom & dad!
I am glad that your mom and dad are enjoying their visit here. You should have the anchovies mixed with the rice, sambal and egg...it imparts a saltiness and crunch factor to the experience of eating nasi lemak. Yummy.💞💞
KL "go" bus is free. There are several routes. From klcc it goes to bukit bintang. You do not need that "hop on off hop" buses. And from bukit bintang you can get other routes to chinatown or chow kit.
You should grab that tiffin, it will be handy if u go to pasar malam, got the idea from Ichang the youtuber, been trting to practice it since then, you should too, just that mine is a budget friendly one😅 The one in the video is quite expensive for my budget tbh, it's lovely but am pretty sure am not gonna use it🤣
I thought they're not fish tolerance like Steve. Don't forget to show them beautiful beaches too. Coz beaches here are not fully covered with rocks but sand
Theres no best ramly nor nasi lemak They taste different , the way it was cook and prepare is unique in each taste buds. Thats the true gem. But,i just dislike wanjo being overrated 🤭 and overpriced 🤣
