Congrats for this fabulous game... You did a great job in this match 👏🏻🤗 I was literally biting nails, watching your time management and I was suffering with Pia during her live commenting...
Great performance! Your plan of surprising your opponent with the opening worked out and you managed to convert this to a W very convincingly. No matter how the tournament will turn out eventually, you should be very proud of your performance.
Hi Anna, im not really a Chess player, but find it fascinating. Keep meaning to start practicing. I just wanted to say i love your enthusiasm. You are great to watch and listen to x
A spectacular game, Anna. I thought Pia was going to explode at one point, and I had to sit down with a cup of chamomile tea and a small cake afterwards. My God - you might win this tournament.
Anna, your rating plus/minus is +27. You are gonna be 2100 again! You are amazing. I have only been playing chess for 1 year and you are the reason I started. I am playing my first FIDE-rated event on the 14 of January, and you are the one who caused me to start this brilliant journey of chess improvement. Thank you Anna
You are playing better each match. Nice to see you manage the time better. Pia and I get so nervous when the clock ticks down. It shows how much more confident you are in your game. Chess Princess
I always start watching one of her videos thinking it's too long, I'm just going to skip to the end. But the editing and Anna's presentation is so interesting that I usually sit through the whole thing. Hats off to the editor and Anna. Thanks for taking us on your tournament journey.
It was really great to watch you play and your mom get so excited whenever you would make the best move that she was trying to predict! The whole twitch chat cheering on your moves... amazing! Thank you Anna and Pia!
Congratulations, Anna, I've enjoyed the games and commentary. I also take too much time so can relate to your games, sadly I cannot play so well as you with very little time! Game 8 was so unlucky but I was surprised at the errors made by your opponents in Games 5&7 still that's the ups and downs of a tournament. I look forward to the next one!
Well done on the tournament so far. I enjoy watching your videos. Your mom's commentary was cool to start and then it triggered my anxiety as she was getting nervous for you. I hope you win and look forward to watching the videos.
Good news Anna. I always smile when you win, particularly if you're the underdog. I like your honest analysis of the game, your strengths and weaknesses. I'm also fascinated with the commentary of your psychology and emotions. A real insight into your tournament experiences.
Fun fact about the tournament standings: The start seeding had 1 woman in the top7, said woman being Anna at #7. Second highest seeded woman was seeded #21 After 7 rounds, there are now 5 women in the top 7 and Anna is tied for #1 Also, I can't commit myself to watching the full games but I absolutely love the short highlights from your mother's commentary.
Great game! I love watch your Mom on those feeds. I don't watch the whole thing, but I've fast forwarded through a few. She gets SO animated and excited to follow your games! It's really engaging!
Best of luck in the rest of the tournament Anna! I feel like I'm finally at a point where I can really follow your explanations and it's all because YOU got me interested in playing. Thanks!
OMG correct. Users have been saying forever to practice on 3min to improve speed. Because you have to use your opponents turn to consider his possible moves and plan on how you plan to respond immediately.
Ver las partidas comentadas por tu madre es una maravilla porque se le nota la pasión por el ajedrez y lo hace muy emocionante y entretenido. Enhorabuena por el gran torneo que estás haciendo.
When you are playing this well Anna, you don't need luck. I hope the next game allows you to play a good bunch of quick, solid moves so there's no time pressure, just joy!
From decades ago, I understand how the pieces are permitted to move, but know little else about chess-certainly not strategy. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up enthusiastically enjoying chess content on RU-vid. Much of it is due to your beauty and your personality, but the key difference is having you explain your thought processes during the matches. That is fascinating.
Bravo Anna 👏👏👏 Me tienes enganchado a este torneo y creo que no soy el único. Mucha suerte para los dos últimos días, aunque acabe como acabe habrás hecho una gran actuación💪
Anna, as a big fan of your talent, your infectious enthusiasm for chess and your big beautiful smile, I will just say what you already know: Your greatest weakness is using up too much game time. Since I started watching your channel my hair has turned grey and whenever I see your clock running down below ten seconds it triggers my chess PTSD ! You are killing me. I can’t take much more! Please remember how good it felt in this game to be up on time, relaxed and in control. Set an internal time limit on moves for yourself and I see you advancing in leaps and strides, beautiful and unstoppable like some Viking Queen of chess! Wishing you great things for this tournament and whatever follows. Good luck!
I am actually ready to bet that Anna's opponent played fast to begin with because he knew and wanted to take advantage of Anna's poor time management. But then he played a little too fast and blundered. I suspect those young players shoot themselves in the foot more often than not trying to play those psychological games... I really doubt Pia spends any time on such dubious tricks... Anyhoo, Anna played beautifully and all ended well!
If i need some happiness in my life at a certain moment, this is definitely the place to come. Anna and all her family are so positif persons. Thanks Anna and Pia for those tears of joy. Good luck for the rest of the tourny and most of all. A really good 2024 to you and your family.
You've totally got this Anna! Good luck today and tomorrow ❤ Here's a thought: if you get down to double seconds, keep the pen in your right hand so you don't lose time picking it up again to record the next move (economy of movement tip from a former cook ;-))
Seeing Anna having time is so rare! And she was also so fascinated by herself...that in a couple moves she ends up with less than a minute on the clock! That's Anna Cramling we all know and love!
Amazing. Not a big chess fan, but really waiting every day this overview of the match and the mother-daughter duo is really working. All the best for the last two rounds!
Great game! Jung was knocked out convincingly and methodically. Obviously he was unable to witstand your pressure, which is really remarkable considering his rating. As a viewer I experienced a completely different set of emotions this time: no time pressure, relaxation, a ton of optimism - no nailbiting nerve-wrecker as I am used to! Anyways, congrats Anna! May the momentum be on your side! Cheers!
