My Most Chaotic TEARS OF THE KINGDOM Challenge Run Yet 

I added a ton of challenge suggestions from the last video! If you have more you think would be fun let me know!!

Quin would walk into a hardware store and ask for chicken

I love how last time Quin said he was top ten in the korok speed run and there’s 11 submissions on the speed run website

So, *that drawing* at 6:58. It's very clearly a surrealist work, not only with its imagery but its impressionist lack of texture or visual clarity. This is contrasted with the harsh black linework on pastel colors, but the linework is shaky and unrefined. This, too, must be intentional. These stylistic choices are reminiscent of a children's coloring book, telling us that the nature of the drawing is simplistic in nature. The subject, Quin's "little guy" avatar, is floating above what appears to be a simple cityscape. His head is enormous. This could be the result of foreshortening, emphasizing how far about the city populous the subject is, _or,_ as the surrealist style suggests, a literal proportion. A "big head" is a turn of phrase to describe a sizable ego, typically derogatorily. Paired with the subject's spacey expression, it seems the artwork is depicting a subject whose head is so large and ego so bloated and filled with hot air that he has literally _and_ metaphorically become a sort of hot air balloon, floating above the troubles of city life. Now, we have to ask The Question: is this a self-portrait? A witty, self-deprecative perspective on the artist's profession as a RU-vidr? Or: is this _not_ a self-portrait, and the artist is only using his avatar as a means to explore _RU-vidrs as a whole?_ Either way: Masterful work, very clearly a subversive, surrealist, and damning critique of the RU-vidr profession as a whole. I look forward to the next piece this artist puts out, as he most definitely puts a lot of thought into the message he wishes to tell. He is definitely a smart smart boy and earned lots and lots of Subscribe. Good.

Quin would walk into a Bed Bath and Beyond, specifically, and ask "is anybody gonna eat that" and then not wait for an answer.

"Wait! Ice chuchus!" "I am a genius, it's true true" the loud cackle I just let out 😭 your humor never fails to stay on point.

"I just wanna have a chat" "You have fallen for my trick, I don't know what words are!" Flawless.

It's nice to wake up in the morning and see that Quin is screaming about little goblins

*In today's episode of Tears of the Kingdom: Demise's Curse...* In light of yesterday's triumphs, we come to realize the Wheel of Misfortune is an unyielding yet petty beast. Rather than accept Quin's raw ability and manliness, it would rather punish him by rolling the destitution! The curse! The horror! *[CIRCUMSTANCE?: Don't Touch The Ground]* 00:24 _(A formatting unlike my own wraps around this summary. It is new. It is sleek. It is comfortable. I accept it in warm, welcoming arms. In layman's terms: "hell yeah. RU-vid chapters.")_ Our beloved and beloathed hero takes to the skies with his bird companion, fleeing the ground in grace and dignity. Tulin, spirit or no, is too small to give Quin a birdyback ride. He must make do with Zonai constructs, and that he does. Having already attempted a challenge in the spirit of things once before, his clever and resourceful thinking should be of no surprise. He makes it to Zora's Domain with little issue. In fact, he might've made it all the way to Ganon if only he didn't trip and bust his face on the ground over a rock. *[EQUIPMENT: No Stamina]* 04:17 Ironically, the only challenge here is Link having gotten the wind knocked out of him by that fall. Quin, naturally, gives no space for the poor boy to catch his breath. He makes eye contact with every monster in a seven-mile radius and promptly falls over. The Wheel of Misfortune takes another round. *[COMBAT: Take A Photo With Every Enemy]* 07:03 Small issue: small man doesn't have a camera. _(He gets a camera.)_ This is awkward when you're spawned into existence during a live combat encounter, but we make do. Their souls are captured before their bodies are turned to dust. Yes! Now _this_ is art, _this_ is COMBAT-! _(He dies. Oops.)_ *[EQUIPMENT: One Heart]* 08:54 We learn from our mistakes! What mistake did we make before? Simple: we got hit. Quin decides he simply will not get hit anymore. This is called: "advanced critical thinking and-slash-or problem solving." Despite the Doubters in Chat, this new strategy works incredibly well. Dorephin's scales, in a weird way, have the silhouette of a fried fish. Fried _anything_ tastes good. Then again, scales aren't edible. Then again _again,_ why is _that_ relevant?… What am I talking about?… Water Temple goes well. _(Would Zora taste better cooked well? Isn't fish usually an unforgiving protein? That's what all the cooking shows say. I've never_ personally _cooked a fish, but I assume if you were to cook and eat Sidon you'd want him medium. Isn't he like… a shark? Aside from the moral questions eating sharks raise…)_ … Uh, got distracted. Quin is also distracted by Sidon, apparently, though probably in a _different_ way, because he totally takes his eyes off a construct trying to murder him. It murders him. *[MOVEMENT: Only Walk Backwards]* 11:46 Quin decides that if he never _looks_ at anything, he can't _take his eyes_ off of anything. Therefore: optimal combat strategy. :) It doesn't work. :( *[COMBAT: Only Throw Stuff]* 12:18 The Wheel of Misfortunate is impressed with Quin's level of inadequacy to the point it grants him a small boon: he doesn't even need to _approach_ enemies anymore. Quin "Basketball" Bo Bin, master of the three pointer, is naturally prepared for this. Constructs hate basketball. *[COMBAT: Switch After Every Swing]* 12:29 Why are we rolling so many combat challenges? Quin's _clearly_ already Bad At It! Luckily, switching weapons after every swing isn't all that different from Normal Combat. Quin adapts to his environment like the amoeba he is and overcomes this new challenge with ease. Mucktorok visits and tells Quin he's a cool guy. *Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today!*

I can't be the only one who thinks Quin would have a lot of fun playing D&D. Like, he could quite literally be a goblin who steals trinkets and wields fire. I want this to be a video. Quin, this needs to be a thing. I call upon the 3 koroks, Quin, Bo, and Bin, to have some fun and play some D&D. Also, @QuinBoBin, I've heard through the grapevine that you need a moderator. I would like to volunteer myself.

you can drop a wing mid-air (if you one in your inventory) btw: 1. glide forwards and then stop, so you're only descending, but not moving forwards, or backwards 2. hold d-pad up to open the menu and go to the wing 3. start holding forward on the stick and press X to drop the wing (keep holding forward until you land on the wind) i find this easiest when i reset the camera just before doing it

Probably not good for this specific series, but an interesting challenge for an actual playthrough could be one where you have to pick up everything you get in the order you find it, assuming you have the space for it. If it's close enough for the pick up option to appear, you collect it. And you can't expand your inventory space. You can't throw anything away either, it has to break during use or be consumed in intended ways. So you cant get rid of, say, extra weapons or materials by using them as throwing materials. The only weapons that can be thrown are boomerangs and anything with the Throwing Bonus. And you cant eat anything as it is, it has to be cooked into a dish. So if you happen to see a ton of stuff like acorns and mushrooms walking through a forest, you're bound to have your tiny inventory full very soon, and if that stuff isn't a cooked dish, you're have to find something to cook it with. If you can't, your inventory is stuck. If this happens, you'll just have to keep going like that. If for any reason this leads in you getting stuck/unable to progress, it's game over. And I do mean game over in the sense you have to start the entire save again. Pick a different route next time. Which brings us to another fun little detail: Picking the right route is important. You're gonna want to pick the route that has more useful (or less useless) stuff in it. (Note: Fusing stuff with arrows is only allowed when the game specifically requires it, like the quest where you have to shoot the scale-fused arrow through the teardrop, or if you happen to pick up an item you can't get rid of otherwise that is intended as fusing material and nothing else. If such an item exists, not sure, just made this thing up as I wrote it so there's bound to be some things I didn't think of. Use your own judgement in such an instance.)

Something I was thinking about recently: Imagine how tough it must be for a random person to travel around with Link. Like, you’re exploring a cave and then you hear strange sounds coming from behind you, but when you look back to investigate, you see Link on the ceiling, beatbox battling a horriblin with a bunch of others watching, and you know you have to pull him down otherwise he’s gonna become their leader and start living there. Or, you’re walking down the road when Link suddenly stops and as he stands still for a few seconds looking in the distance, you sigh because you know exactly what’s going on. He then starts sprinting towards that direction at alarming speeds because he saw something shiny. And when you finally catch up with him because there’s a really tall cliff and it’s raining, he extends his funny arm and out of nowhere, the most terrifying machine you’ve ever seen appears from nothing and then he uses it to take flight. And when you finally make it up there because you had a slip resistance elixir, you see Link, passed out with a topaz on his hand, when you manage to make out what happened: he tried to eat it, but ended up getting electrocuted. And then you drag his unconscious body to the nearest stable, constantly resisting the urge to throw him down a well. Also, Quin, when are you gonna make another Side Order video?

Challenge suggestions: 1) Naked. (Best in hot and cold spots) 2) Only zonai devices for weapons (flame, shock, beam, or thrown devices) 3) only zonai builds for kills (do a boss murder Mad Max style) 4) invert controls 5) only shield weapons (death by parry! Parrying with a weapon or some objects to shield causes damage)

Legit, I get so excited when I see a new upload 😁 Still finding it a bit tricky to keep up with which challenge is being played at a time but I am easily detracted 😂 know you said you'd try to remember to put them up on screen, but it's cool if you don't think it would vibe with the video. It could very well just be a me thing. Also have a challenge idea if you happen to own or ever plan to own a pair of beer goggles. Wear them. Failing that, play the game looking at the screen through a mirror. Have a good one!

I would love to see Quin try a zelda randomizer for one of the games he's beaten if he knew some of the checks well enough. It could have very easy settings so he doesn't get lost, like turning off the checks for the side quests and minigames.
