I understand your fear of vomit. I had it when I was younger. Even if that could ruin my day, my parents calmed me down by telling that there was nothing wrong about it, since it's just a natural thing from my body. Overcoming that fear wasn't easy because of my anxiety, but now I can be worry about many things but vomit. I hope you keep suppresing your anxiety, in order to enjoy what you love to do. ❤️

Snazaroo body paint is a lapjs cosplayers curse lol. I met TBE zach Calluson at MCM october2018 cosplaying lapis with snazaroo paint so i met my idol looking like a sweaty blue golf ball lol

This reminds me of myself. Throwing up is one of my biggest fears too. I never eat when i'm somewhere else bc I think it could make me vomit. I have no anxiety normaly but in cosplay on cons i get really shy and hide behind my friend. On my third ever con last year I felt like you. Everytime my friend tried to go back into the con center with me i felt like throwing up. It was horrible but at the end it was a fun con bc she helped me so much. Sorry for my story but I felt (?) you :')

I just debuted my Shinobu cosplay from Demon Slayer in public today! I went to a garage sale the con I go to every year was running, and cosplay was encouraged! I met so many cool people and many cosplayers!

Not a cosplay story, but definitely a tale of guerilla gum attacks. Me, my sister, and our friend were ice skating at our local recreational center. We had been skating for a while, and decided to take a break, so we went to hang out in the food court area. We were all sitting at a table talking. At some point, my sister stands up, and notices this weird yellow piece of gum that's gotten stuck on the hem of her jacket. She kinda freaked out for a second, but she eventually got it off, and luckily it didn't ruin her day too much.

God and here my only cosplay disaster was at this small con in Sept. 2019, I was wearing my Sailor Galaxia cosplay, with brand new bootcovers (I EVEN PAID TO BE IN THE CONTEST), and my bootcovers decided to start to fall aPART so we left a few hours into the con (no one cared about my cosplay either, which made me sad, bc I had worn her to a bigger con and people LOVED IT and I ended up bruising my foot bc of my gogo boots, hence the whole, making bootcovers). I was so heartbroken and i haven't worn her since.

Honestly as funny as this was this was also super inspirational! I myself struggle with social anxiety and there always seems to be a moment of panic when I’m cosplay!😭 it’s so nice of you to be vulnerable to your audience and be honest that’s it’s not always a walk in the park!🖤🖤🖤

Throw back to momocon when my corset ripped clean along a seam and i walked through the junction between the hotel and the convention center in a ripped corset and ballgown with my back completey out for all con goer to see, including misty chronexia

As a person with severe Emetophobia feeling nauseous is nightmare for me I’m still tryna fight my fear but it might last a lifetime, You feel like puking at a convention and you have Emetophobia Try bringing Carbonated drinks, Bananas, Orange juice, Nintendo, phone, i-pad, tablet and take-with-you devices (gaming helps reduce nausea for me), Meditation, Pressing your wrist and breathing I have Emetophobia and my aunt taught me this

I always have horrible anxiety before cons and idk why but I always do and I am terrified of barfing but I’ve had such a bad panic attack that it’s happened luckily I was just leaving the house but it could have been a disaster

To get rid of gun I highly suggest next time if you get another one on your costume s to put your costume in a Ziploc bag and put it in the freezer and put ice on top of the bag leave it in the freezer for a couple of hours then take it out I give you a costume a good shake
