Well hey there! I'm a Canadian cosplayer and diehard cartoon nerd! I make videos about cosplaying and various other things relating to cartoons and general nerdism, with a new video coming out every Sunday 10AM EST / 7AM PST (and the occasional bonus video coming out on Wednesday afternoons).
I would love a Ragatha walk through! I always love watching your cosplay walk throughs and get excited when I see them pop up on my feed. Great video as always :D
Oh man the Steven Universe body paint trenches…my friend and I ruined some hotel towels painting ourselves with Snazzaroo and had to pay like $60 in damages 😅
I used to take 2.5ish hours to paint myself for undyne. I also got up extra early to get it done before the convention started. The worst part for me was washing my hands and repainting them quickly without making a mess. That and the fact that I had to take a shower to wash it all off before collapsing into bed.
Ooof omg yes I know this feeling well. I remember I started using a new bodypaint and it wouldn't wash off as easily, so I had to start packing coconut oil to better scrub it off at the end of the day. 😅
This was such a fun video! Your videos are some of my favorites to watch while working on my own cosplays. :) I'd love to see your walkthrough of Ragatha! I haven't seen ADC (yet!), but I love your walkthroughs!
Thank you so much! I will edit it together then! I was worried it'd be too late to share it since I filmed it back in November, but I think it should be OK. 😁
one of my friends is cosplaying Millie from Helluva and to this day she refuses body suits and paints herself and her friend every time 🤧 props to you guys for this insane work
Julie! ✨ I love welcome home ✨ I’m going to a convention and I’m praying to see some welcome home cosplayers I just hope this isn’t a dead fandom (not talked about much at least on my feed anymore)
@@AnyaPanda I’m just praying it’s not because i agree it’s soo good and the website is very detailed in my opinion 💗 and gravity falls has a book of bill and I pre ordered it since it has some backstory on bill sorry thst was out of topic it’s just I’ve seen nobody on my fyp talking about it
I’m currently making my first non-closet cosplay, and I’m making a chainsaw man cosplay out of cardboard. It’s pretty easy since I don’t need a wig and I can get the clothes from any second hand store.
i, last minute, decided to join a csm cosplay group. going as kobeni. have the wig, but waiting for the outfit. i honestly didnt have anyhting for it xd
my second ever cosplay im making a princess celestia cosplay, with a 3d printed light up crown and bracelets and a necklace and wings made out of eva foam!!! so exciting
The place where Cons are held in my state doesn’t allow metal water bottles, does anyone know of any good brands for non metal water bottles? I know I could just bring disposable bottles, but I don’t like throwing away the plastic
My first con I went by myself as an adult (I didn’t have anyone I knew that would want to go with me) and I had an absolute blast! If you don’t have anyone to go with, GO FOR IT! Just do your research ahead of time so you know what you’re getting yourself into. Ladies take necessary precautions (share your location with a friend, consider ubering if you’ll have to park far away or walk to your car after dark, etc) I highly recommend checking out the tabletop games room and playing some dungeons and dragons if you’re looking to make friends! I had never played before and that’s how I made my con friends! Good luck fellow geeks!
Go to the dry cleaners as they have access to very strong hydrogen peroxide and that is the best to remove blood. Also wash blood with cold water only. Call your doctor and get on birth control, it helps a lot.
@@AnyaPanda I am only suggesting an option that worked for me. I am not saying you have to if you aren't comfortable with it. I just find that it helps to regulate my hormones. Also mefenamic acid is very effective.
Your Falin turned out amazing! 😁 I friggin love props, and your lantern staff was so dope! As a tip I learned from a cosplay buddy of mine, instead of spakle, wet foam clay works wonders for cracks and seams for foam. Takes 2 days to dry unfortunately before you can do any sanding, but it melds into the foam nicely. Huge props for pushing through and posting Falin. You glow wearing her! 🤗
That means a lot thank you!!! 🥹🫶🏻 And thank you very much for the tip, that's really helpful! I have some foam clay kicking around so I'll be sure to try that next time.
I hope this isn't a weird question, but roughly how much did this all cost you? I imagine a *lot* of it is stuff you already had but I'm trying to budget for my own Falin cosplay for the faire!!
I never make props because a) they're often overwhelming and b) I don't feel like carrying them around the entire day at the con lol. But I love watching people make props, it's such a magical process
It definitely is! I used to make props a lot when I was younger, but then the cosplays I did more recently never required props, so it was really nice to get back into prop-making!
