Bought the long range and it comes in two weeks. With the acceleration boost the performance only beats it off the line a bit and then they are within a car length of each other for a while. Thought about the performance but I wanted the extra range for road trips and being in the Midwest the all season tires will help. Congrats on your new car I can’t wait for mine! I got white on white.

I honestly used to think people were exaggerating the acceleration affect of being pushed back into the seat until I got my performance model 3. It's just a ridiculous car that I don't think I will ever get bored of.

Congrats! Black/white combo is awesome! Also good call with wrapping - you will need something (wrap or ppf) on the nose of that car ASAP to avoid nicks, etc.

@@ElectricShock14 If you don't wrap it first, yes. I waited way too long to PPF the nose, headlights and about 12 inches of the hood, and it took a LOT of abuse on the highway, especially with a 2k mile road trip. The nose is a crazy bug magnet! Every car is probably the same, but with the Tesla you see EVERY single bug and chip because there is no grill/radiator. They can be difficult to remove and I worried about over scrubbing the paint/clearcoat to get them off. No worries with PPF now... And of course, it's not just bugs but rocks, etc. While the nose is better with chips because it is more flexible, as is the paint on it, but it is also worse due to it's location. I've been waiting to PPF the full hood because I'm thinking of wrapping it. Meanwhile I got another small chip in the paint! This would look much worse on a black car...

IMO the überturbine wheels are a step back from the previous style. Just picked up a used 2020 performance over a 21 due to those wheels lol. The black trim does look better though. Sucks that they disabled the boombox horn features.

I was nervous too and I wasn't prepared for instant torque so literally when I floored it I got nauseous for a split second not prepared mentally. I fell in love. When the refresh comes I'm getting the performance M3 the anticipation is killing me😢😢😢

I had a 22 M3LR on order for a few weeks but then I test drove a M3P and immediately changed my order to the Performance. Not just the acceleration….the ride quality. It left me STUNNED JUST WOW. Thankfully, I have the same delivery date for 12/21.

I was just about to purchase the 2022 m3p but hear the EV credit that’s about to hopefully pass is limited to sedans $55,000 or less :( That makes a big difference! Ugh! Now it makes the long range with boost so much more affordable over the mp3 🤔

hi bro, just stumbled across your channel. Heard in this you had a subaru STI. Quick search you had a new model. I have a 2011 STI and i love it. However it is getting towards it’s time and i’m scared of actually biting the bullet and going with a tesla. i’ve never been in a tesla. As you’ve owned both, how does the telsa compare? Obviously power/torque is clear, however how is cornering? You could take any corner in the STI with breeze, scared i’ll loose this in the MP3.

Hey!! So the STI was I would say 20% better a corners, the tesla has some body roll for sure that the STI had but it is still way GOOD enough IMO! TBH the only thing I miss so far from the STI is the sound, that's about it

Are new M3P’s coming with new AMD ryzen? Also when will 4680 batteries be in? Should wait for those to be confirmed in new 2022 dont buy to buy old tech with newer updates might cause issues
