He does actually give the measurements throughout the videos but doesn’t list them in the description which makes it difficult for people watching to replicate exactly what he’s making without watching it multiple times. I'm 36 & this is my favorite pasta dish to make at home! I like to use a shallot instead of white onion. I like shell pasta because it holds little pockets of the sauce & I garnish with green onion & crispy prosciutto 🤤 so good! I'm going to try the calabrian chili next time instead of crushed red pepper flakes 😉

60 years old,learned this dish at a Banging Busy Italian Country Club back in the Early 80's. Really nice to see what I learned has passed onto you Chef. The hard core Gumbas wanted their Pasta with chopped fried Cherry Peppers, but the mainstream DiningRoom just had it Straight. Some versions start with diced Pancetta, but I prefer to toss in some cut up Italian sausage..... And then accent with some Primo Bread or Garlic Toast. Love the butter, the sauce is just so silky, succulent, and sophisticated for such common ingredients.BRAVO!
