I am so thankful for all ur videos. They are always full of inspiration, comfort and tips. You always brighten my day and make me smile. Good luck with the race! Also I just discovered ur work channel. AWESOME! Congrats on everything in ur bright future.
Best of luck to you in your quest to complete the half marathon in Chicago. Team Challenge is a great organization. I completed the 2012 San Diego Tri Rock with TC and it was a great experience. I was pretty nervous having to do it with an ostomy, especially the swimming portion of the race, but the Cymed product I used held up well with the help of a couple layers of compression shorts and the race was a success. You truly are an inspiration to have the courage to share your story as you do. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Colitis in 2004, had an ileostomy surgery in 2010, but the j-pouch unfortunately wasn't in the cards for me. However, I have to say life is much better with an ostomy than it was pre-surgery. Are you still planning on getting the take-down surgery? Good luck in the race!
Watching a rerun of Tosh and you were featured. So glad I found you. I was diagnosed with colitis (switched diagnosis to crohn's) I think 12 years ago or so.
I was wondering if there is any way we can talk the dr dont what I have its between. ulcerative colitis Crohn's disease I would like to ask a few questions manly about surgery. Ty for your time
Hi! I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with your videos. I hope you were able to participate in the Team Challenge, and hope you did well! Hope you're feeling well. Sincerely, Mark
Hi there, first, this is a serious question and i'm just really curious. If for any reason i would walk pass you or be in the same room as you and notice you have an ostomy, i would naturally feel very curious (not in a bad way - i am here and i dont have a disease or anything, i just want to know more :), would it bother you if i walked up to you and say hey, introduce myself and ask you about your bag? just show my curiosity? would that offend you? :) i understand why it would and i'm just curious, i dont want to make a mistake hehe. Thank you and i miss your videos.
Hey, I just has surgery (im 22) im about 3 months out. Being new to this and still self conscious about it, I wouldn't particularly like someone coming up and asking about it. I am new to it so I'm not sure how id feel about it in 5 years or maybe even a few months
